Facebook spends $2B to buy Oculus and Google is just like "Well we can just make that out of cardboard".

Google has realized other countries exist, Glass to launch outside the US at Google IO.

Google's Glass Explorer program has gone from early developer access, to contest winners, to friend referrals, and recently even opening up the purchase of Glass directly from Google without the need for a special invite. That's about to change.

You probably all know this guy's channel by now, but in case you don't: It's basically Jackass for engineers.
He makes stupidly dangerous things... and it's AWESOME!

Ouch! Well it would be a miracle if he didn't get hurt every once in a while, when he does things like that.

Reached a major milestone today. I got my delta printer powered up. The axes moves as they should and it homes perfectly. It's not done yet, but just seeing it finally move felt great!

I loathe this.  Have to do it on the extruder drive on DMs; we have since swapped to motors with plugs on them so we can have some company put together pre-sleeved tethers for us. :D

I got these tiny arduino trinkets a while ago, but haven't had time to play with them until now.
So now I'm looking for a cool project I can put them to use in. Any ideas? :)

I would like to see them interfaced with four motor drivers, and those motors be interfaced with the sliding panels in my TV table. Then, when I turn on my PlayStation the panels would open automatically to allow for lazier air circulation 😁

Finally got my first of many delta printers up and running. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out :)

It's really just a 60mm hotend.
Only slightly longer than a standard J-head.

Another milestone: Automatic bed leveling!
Rather than using a Z-probe, I am using force sensitive resistors underneath the glass plate which detects the touch of the hotend on the glass. It works flawlessly!

Congrats. Can't wait to get it up and running on my delta bot.

I just became a backer of MicroView.
It's a tiny arduino with a built in OLED display - really innovative stuff!

I love this. It's so hypnotic.
A strange, but incredibly well executed work of art that is a curious combination of both architecture and animation.
