Bait & Switch: They market this place as just another place to get health care but in reality they bill it separately as "emergency" so you end up paying more. Also, they screwed up the billing and had no clue what was wrong with me- just guessed and gave me antibiotics after doing a not so thorough physical Horrible experience, would not recommend especially if you can just make an appointment through ZocDoc for a real doctor visit that won't cost you extra for being "emergency"

They say a visit is approximately $125, but read the fine print (that's not there, mind you). They will charge for every little test that they do. And to make things worse, the doctor even told me that they would not charge if they submitted a strep test. If you have a deductible to pay on your insurance you should be expecting to pay around $300-$400 for a visit.

The doctors and nurses are very friendly and professional. HOWEVER, the ladies at the front desk are rude and stuck up. They give you snarky remarks and talk to you as if you were inferior. They don't say please or thank you, which are basic manners. They don't look at you when they are speaking to you. For receptionists, I would think they would be a little friendlier.

Quick, Fast, and good service. Walked in with a bad cold, walked out with prescription for antibiotics and nasal spray half not even half an hour later.

I went to CityMD today, Wednesday morning, for the first time for a sore throat. I don't have a primary care physician because I rarely ever get sick. I found that they were in my health insurance provider's network online and were the closest urgent care, plus they had good reviews. On CityMD's website, I found a check in online function, which was amazing, it saved me so much time. I entered in all my info before their office even opened at 8am. I wanted to go before going to work so I didn't have to take time off work. The staff were friendly. There were very few people in there at 8am. I handed over my ID and health insurance card, signed a form. They called my name within 5 minutes of waiting. I was taken to a back room where they took my blood pressure and temp and did a throat swab. The doctor came in after a few minutes and I was given a prescription just in case it was strep, but the office test was negative, he was super nice and friendly. Checkout was smooth and easy. I had to wait a couple minutes for them to print out my RX and doctors note for work and then I was out of there. I was in and out in probably a total of 20 minutes. Plus, I didn't even have a copay? I am not sure if they made a mistake or if I just have amazing insurance. I would definitely recommend them. Fast, easy, good service. Now I just wish I could find a dentist this amazing.....haven't had any luck yet in that department!

If you know whats wrong and need urgent medical attention, this is the place to go. You'll be treated much more quickly than through an ER. HOWEVER, for anything remotely complicated or unique, you're better off with a hospital ER. Doctors and nurses are good, but front desk is less than stellar. They are not a friendly bunch.

I wish I could give this six stars. Never have I dealt with medical care as smoothly run as CityMD Urgent Care. On a Sunday morning I went because I thought I might have a sinus infection. I saw a doctor within about 20 minutes, everyone was polite and friendly, the place was clean, and after listening to my symptoms and doing basic tests I was diagnosed. They told me it could still be a cold, but if in a day I still felt terrible that I should take the antibiotics they prescribed on the spot. I was back in my apartment in about 40 minutes. Just wow.

Just went to the Upper East side CityMD Urgent Care clinic this morning and was blown away by the experience. All the staff were super friendly, I was only waiting ~ 15minutes and the doctors and nurses were fantastic in ensuring I was sorted out. Thanks!
