Also excited to be part of Chicago Ideas Week, as one of the featured talks in their session on why humor matters, and how it facilitates the communication of new questions and ideas:

I am really pleased and excited to have been invited to participate in the upcoming Annual World Summit of Images and Voices of Hope.
http://ivoh.org/ivoh-annual-world-summit
The more I'm learning about IVOH, the more I'm looking forward to being a part of this event, and spending time with people whose extraordinary experiences and accomplishments have made messengers of hope, while still being hard-eyed realists. No happy talk here, just passion and methodology for making positive changes in our world.

Our new watercolor illustration of what the Arizona monument will look look like at twilight. The monoliths will be facing west by southwest, so will capture the color changes of the setting sun, and will also be lit in the evening, which will look exceptional against the desert sky.

The Bill of Rights Monument, 5th Amendment Monolith, was inscribed last week. Here are the first photos - beginning with the rubber template overlayed on monolith, then two shots of the finished work. The white stuff and lines are residue from template, not permanent. By the end of next week, the first five amendments should be fully inscribed.
We still need to fund the installation costs. How about a little help? http://mybillofrights.org/arizona-project-programs/

Major thanks to John O Whiteman for his personal contribution of $10,000, our largest individual contribution to date. We've now topped the $250,000 mark in funding for the Bill of RIghts Monument at the Arizona Capitol!
Mr. Whiteman has been an outstanding community leader in Phoenix for many years. Check out the exceptional work of his foundation here: http://whitemanfoundation.com/
