As mentioned in another thread here on G+, the DCC Adventure Index that I've been working on for a while is shipping to Goodman Games this week (it's already listed on the Goodman retail page as available for pre-order), and will also be available directly thru Black Blade Publishing by emailing us at tacojohndm@yahoo.com. We'll also have these available at the Black Blade booth at GaryCon.

The Adventure Index is a topical index that lists all instances of new adventure elements (in the categories listed below), in which adventures and/or publications the elements appeared, and the page number where the elements can be found. The adventure elements are broadly grouped in the following categories:

Animals, Creatures & Monsters (along with HD)
New Magic Items
New Patrons
New Rituals & Spells
Notable NPCs (with Level and Class, as appropriate)
Other Miscellany

The Adventure Index includes a complete listing of all official Goodman Games DCC Adventures, in numerical order, along with the publications in which the adventures appeared if different from the adventure title, thru December 2016.

The price when purchased thru Goodman Games is $5.00 US and does not include shipping. The price when purchased thru Black Blade is $5.00 US and includes domestic US shipping. The booth price for the Index at GaryCon will be $5.00 US. Digest sized, 56 pages plus a cardstock cover featuring a +Todd McGowan illustration!

Here are pics of a couple of pages of the finished Index. This two-page spread shows the end of the Animals, Creatures & Monsters section and the beginning of the New Magic Items section; the adventure elements are listed on the left, alphabetically by topic, with the adventure or publication reference & page number to the right.

Tagging +Harley Stroh, +Julian Bernick, +Cory Gahsman and +Marc Bruner as they each have seen bits and pieces of this Index.

Here's a friendly reminder that GaryCon 2017 event registration for silver badge badgeholders opens on Saturday, January 21st (tomorrow).

We've put together a grid-style schedule of most of the DCC, MCC, Met Alpha, and X-Crawl! events (and some of the CoC, Cyborg Commando, and Star Frontier events) that are on the schedule for GaryCon this year. The pdf event grid can be found in this Google Drive folder:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4LoQMOj2RIRUWNqc0NCaUEza3M

If anyone has trouble with the pdf or retrieving it, post a note here and I'll try to help you out.

Gongfarmer's Almanac Distribution Update (10/19/2016):

The Gongfarmer's Local #282 is pleased to announce that very soon, the compiled Gonfarmer's Almanacs will be available for purchase in dead-tree format through the newly launched Goodman Games online store.

These are the very same Complete Gongfarmer's Almanacs that +Dan Domme made available previously, with the minor additions of unique SKU #s and retail pricing on the back covers. The retail price for these compiled editions is the same as the Lulu.com production cost, so you can buy your copies from either Lulu.com or from Goodman Games, if you're looking to snag copies of these awesome 'zines.

[note: the Gongfarmer's Almanacs pictured here are the separate giveaway 'zines, not the all-in-one compiled editions that are available for retail purchase. This picture is for illustration purposes only.]

Here's a quick update on the Lulu.com set-up for the Gongfarmer's Almanacs (10/3/2016).

The first four digital volumes of the 2016 Gongfarmer's Almanac have been successfully uploaded and are available for download on the Lulu.com website.

A snag was encountered with volumes 5 and 6, so progress was interrupted. But I expect this is just a short-term delay.

Whoot!!! I've always wanted to visit Cincy!!!

Gentlemen - I have Gongfarmer Almanacs to ship!! If you haven't done so already (since GenCon), please hit me with an email at tacojohndm@yahoo.com so we can sort out shipping details.

As a practical matter, the Gongfarmer's Local #282 is asking for $6.50 to offset the cost of mailing the otherwise free Almanacs out to you. That $6.50 covers USPS Priority Mail, which is our preferred method of shipping, plus I don't spend money on shipping supplies since the Priority Mail supplies are provided.

If I'm only shipping one or two volumes out, that runs $1.00 - $2.00, for just the shipping.

Heads up, guys! Your Gongfarmer's Almanacs and/or GenCon orders shipped today!

Delivery times vary, but parcels should start showing up Monday for most of you and continue Tuesday and Thursday. All are coming by USPS. Enjoy!
