Preventable medical errors are the third leading cause of death in the U.S. (behind heart disease and cancer).  Unfortunately, preventable medication errors are the largest percentage of these deaths. This show is all about those individuals, medical facilities, medical technology companies, academia, etc., rallying together and developing viable solutions that are focused on the systems, processes, and protocols in medicine, that are clinically proven to lower the probability of “human error” on the part of the clinicians during the course of treatment.  Surviving Healthcare Today is also about spreading a sense of “true” hope, that by concentrating on these vital aspects of medicine, one day soon we really can get to zero deaths from preventable medical errors!
