If you plan on driving to San Francisco for SF Cutters Thurs May 22 - please note if you are driving on HWY 280 to the meeting:

reminding everyone that 280 between King and Mariposa will be closed for repairs.

You can take 280 north to get TO the meeting Thursday, I usually get off at Mariposa. The nearby on-ramps will close southbound at 9 PM, so going home you'll need a plan "B".

Who is speaking at SF Cutters on SF Cutters? We have 3 top speakers:
#SanFrancisco Maureen #Gosling:
www.imdb.com/name/nm0331510/

MAUREEN GOSLING has been a #documentary# filmmaker for more than thirty years and is best known for her twenty-year collaboration with acclaimed independent director, #LesBlank (Burden of Dreams, Always for Pleasure). Gosling has also been sought after as an editor, working with such directors as Jed Riffe (Waiting to Inhale, California’s “Lost” Tribes), Tom Weidlinger (Heart of the Congo, A Dream in Hanoi), Shakti Butler (The Way Home), Ashley James (Bomba: Dancing the Drum), Amie Williams (Stripped and Teased) and Pam Rorke Levy (The Mission District: The Hidden Neighborhoods of San Francisco).
Maureen's work has often focused on themes of people and their cultural values, music as cultural expression and the changing gender roles of men and women. Her films have been seen in countless film festivals around the world, on national public and cable television, on television in Europe, Australia and Asia, and have been distributed widely to educational institutions.

One of her current works "Aint No Mouse Music" is currently in theatres around the country this month and will soon be available on DVD

This place may have closed - website is referring to a resume building site, and they don't answer the phone. If anyone knows if they moved or otherwise - please post - I used to like dropping in here from time to time. Had incredible teas.

Sometimes this place is super busy and other times during the week, it is moderate, and relaxing. If the place was never busy would you want to go there? So if it is a weekend brunch time or a summer afternoon, maybe you want to leave some extra time. Otherwise there are many tables inside and outside, bring a friend to chat and share the delectables. I really felt I had stepped thru a portal into Italy. Memorable if you only visit once, or are a regular. The entire street is delightful to window shop if you need to wait, or walk off your pastry!
