"Playtime – or ‘recess’ for our American counterparts – was one of my favourite parts of the school day when I was growing up. All over the world at a given point in the day, kids charge out of doors to let off steam and rest their brains. All the information they have learned settles down: some sticks, some is lost forever."

Find out how free time can cause those eureka moments in +Chloe Marshall's latest post on the +mark-making* blog.

See hello to the newest member of mark-making*, Chloe Marshall, who joins our digital ranks as a content marketing executive. Please welcome her aboard and read her first - the first of many I'm sure - blog post for us. "Hello from Chloe, and this clever little puppy". The puppy reference will make sense later.

I've been thinking a lot about content recently. Here's a blog post I wrote last year explaining why content marketing isn't a tactic exclusive to big brands - small businesses can benefit too.

Digital Marketing Manager at mark-making*
Introduction
My love affair with SEO and online marketing started in earnest when I began working with Zest Digital, an Oxford-based digital marketing consultancy. Since then I've been building up my skills and have taken a keen interest in content marketing - writing great, shareable content and how to market it effectively using outlets such as social media.

I joined mark-making* in January 2013, where I've taken a broader digital & inbound marketing role - still heavily involved in SEO, but focusing on content marketing and conversion rate optimisation to a greater extent, as well as overseeing the social strategy.

I've never had a bad experience at the Thai Shire - delicious food and amazing service. It is one of those places that, despite offering a takeaway service, you must sit down inside to make the most of what makes this place great. I always order one of the set menus which is a feast - I'm usually stuffed by the time the third (main) course arrives. What really elevates the Thai Shire (besides great food) is the incredibly friendly service. I recommend it to everyone that visits Chippy!
