So, what have you done? I belong to an Antiochian Mission in the USA, and over 1/2 of us have non-Arabic names. So what? I don't understand the Priest's problem. Nor do I understand why he would want to get the name of the person who referred you from the USA. You must had gotten a bad referral. I've been part of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, too. In fact, I've attended many Orthodox Churches: Greek, Russian, American, Coptic, and Antiochian. We were welcomed at each Church with friendly faces and encouragement to return. In some the language was English and in many it was Greek, Russian, Copt, or Arabic. We preferred English, as we didn't understand the other languages. In our mission, all of the services are in English. Many of us are converts, and others are native (cradle) Orthodox. I'm really sorry you had this experience.

TubbyLunkers - this was composed in the 20th century by Franz Biebl for a choir of firemen!

From Wikipedia: "The Duetto buffo di due gatti ("humorous duet for two cats") is a popular performance piece for two sopranos which is often performed as a concert encore. The "lyrics" consist entirely of the repeated word "miau" ("meow"). Sometimes it is also performed by a soprano and a tenor.
While the piece is typically attributed to Gioachino Rossini, it was not actually written by him, but is instead a compilation written in 1825 that draws principally on his 1816 opera, Otello. The compiler was likely the English composer Robert Lucas de Pearsall, who for this purpose used the pseudonym "G. Berthold".[1]"

+Awww! I LOVE it! Wish my cat would bring me a mouse! (we only have one, and it's an indoor cat). Cats bearing gifts, however icky, are just being terribly generous to us!

@420946 no no no you don't understand! This is a video about how to make silver chloride, silver oxide and every other possible compound you can make that is NOT colloidal silver!! You gotta be careful guys, honestly :( I guess at least he didn't put salt into it!!

If you can do it better and more accurately, why not make a vid of it for the rest of us?

A short slideshow of the best pics I have taken of Emmy. In June 2013, Emmy will retire and go to live with a lovely couple with 2 young boys. We will miss her so much! Another service dog is in training right now, and (barring washing out for some reason) will be ready next summer (2014). Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
