Anyone know what type of flower this is? It grows on a vine and has a very feint sweet scent.

Yep that's it. Had no idea. Guess I'm going to have some passion fruit here soon.

#ifihadglass I would make first person instructional primitive technology and bushcraft skill videos to help keep our dying native skills alive for my children and future generations.

Well I guess it is time to get started putting content on this community. I just did a small write up on the Chaparral Yucca over at USA Bushcraft. I'm going to expand on that post here in the next day or so. If anyone else out there wants to help provide content just let me know.

I'll try to get a video up of my bow drill kit here soon. I have one week left in this quarter for school and then I'll have some free time to get into the bush!

One of the reasons I keep paying so much in taxes to live in CA is the ability to have views, beaches and surf like this.

Happy Systems Administrator Day! OPs is a hard game to play. Having done system administration for a large part of my career I have nothing but respect for anyone who takes care of systems and networks for a living (as long as my email stays up) ;) Keep up the great work.

Interesting article that directly impacts my father's business. My dad has been growing  Australian native wildflowers in San Diego for over 35 years. Some of these pests have been attacking his crops and causing quite a lot of damage. If this is bioterrorism it is directly impacting small farmers in Southern California.

Yeah. I'm not convinced that it was biological terrorism. We do have a lot of aussie plants here in so cal due to our similar climates. I agree that there is a good chance that they hitched a ride over. I have seen the "inspection" USDA gives plants coming into the US. It is nothing even close to the inspection we get when entering Australia where just about everything biological is required to be thrown out. What ever way the pests got here they still have a major impact on the small farmers here in San Diego. Still it makes you really think about how vulnerable our natural resources are to these exotic pests.

The nurses here are top notch and genuinely care for their patients well being. I have been going here for treatments for the past 3 years and every time the quality of service provided is above and beyond. The building also has many small "healing gardens" around it so the patients can relax in a calm and serene environment.
