One of the worst Souplantations I have been to. After I convinced my wife to go on the way home this location was very small, hardly anything special for food. Few months ago I was in Valencia and they had quinoa salad and veggie chili plus more selection. This location on the other hand had not much for vegans.

On average you add a dozen different ingredients on your salad plate, but all you add are crackers in your soup. Really? What are you 5? The entire bounty of ingredients are meant to be creatively mixed. The main reasons people come here is they don’t have the time to make homemade soup or the want to buy the dozen ingredients for their salad and so they can eat till their gonna pop. My previous tip is just the beginning of my creativity on how to really step your food game up here. I’ll reiterate that and others later. This is not gourmet food, but a buffet of home-style dishes. Unlike my tips for other buffet’s your potential is somewhat limited without real entrees. Location is tucked away and confusing, in direct competition with it’s neighbor Olive Garden. The crowd here is significantly older on average than most places. If you spend an hour here, your sure to see small groups that have been there for hours before and will stay hours after you. Décor got a major improvement last year along with new menu items. It’s bright and open with tons of windows which are great in the summer, but they aren’t all that great in the winter. Think single pane. The salad bar is probably set up way better than everything else because that’s where there is order and structure, once it’s soup and past and breads and desserts and drinks it’s a free for all, no direction, just madness. Their coffee is pretty gross and they don’t have limes, only lemons. Stick with the water, you’ll never get your moneys worth on fountain drinks or otherwise. Service is pretty good with clean up and it’s clean for the most part. I love the non uniform furniture, less cookie cutter like before. Mason jars with plants and wall hanging succulents make it feel warmer and brighter. Price is ok, but get the veg club and the real value is in your plan of attack Now onto the real part of the review. We all know the chicken soup is pretty good and even better with crackers and maybe some tobacco if you like it, but that’s child’s play compared to chili flakes, green onions from the potato area and a squeeze of lemon. Trust me you’ll never add just crackers to your souplantation chicken soup again. The chili is good, but throw some cheese, water it down with some chicken broth and add a dollop of sour cream (corn for sweetness is optional)and bam, flavors, color, texture, a whole different dish. Add corn to the chicken pot pie soup for color. The tomato soup is too think and also needs to be watered down, try the chicken soup broth also. Clam chowder with bacon can’t really add much to spice it up. Lets face it the last half of this review were protips, but if you think about it. You customize your salad, you throw ice cream on your brownie and add a variety of toppings, but too often just eat soup and crackers. Vanilla. Take my advice and you’ll never eat at Souplantation the same way again. Eat slow because it feels good to learn and you only get your mind blown once here.

I love souplantation but not this location. If there are only 2 in your party you can get stuck at the worlds smallest booth, that two trays don't fit on. There are no bowls for the salads when you first walk in so you have to make a salad on a plate. Also the whole place is designed for a traffic jam because after you pay you're right next to the soup area where you have to bump into a million people if its busy just trying to sit down. If you're in the area just go to the one off of Sycamore, it's wayyyyy better.
