There are things that are more dangerous than the fiscal cliff.
I am concerned about the flaws before making about the fiscal cliff. It seems that everyone is afraid that if we go over the fiscal cliff. We are doomed. That is not true. It is especially not true,. If the solution to the fiscal cliff is worse or the economy than the fiscal cliff itself. I hope everyone understands that the deficit problem in the United States is not a revenue problem. It is a spending problem. Time and time again our government has promised us that if we let them raise the taxes and tax rates that they will later cut spending. This is an interesting promise a promise that is made and made time and time again , but never. That is because the politicians and the citizens do not agree on the vocabulary in political speak a cut really , really means a reduction in the increase . That means even though they're cutting the budget. They are spending more this year than they did last year.. However,, when a citizen hears the word. They think that it means that we will spend less here than we did last year we as citizens must insist that our politicians speak to us in a manner in which everyone will understand. The citizens of the United States need to insist that her politicians spend less in 2013 than they did in 2012 when it comes the finances, if one finds oneself in a hole the first thing they should do is stop digging . I am telling you the proposals that the president has put forward and the proposals that the Congress has put forward are both worse than the fiscal cliff. The president's proposal is especially dangerous, because, he is asking for debt ceiling authorization to be put in the hands of the executive rather than the Congress. The most important duty under the Constitution that the Congress does is the budget something we haven't seen in over three years. How is it possible for us to know what we are spending and how are we going to be able to determine where to reduce spending, if we do not have a budget with which to work. How long do you think a CEO would remain CEO if he could not produce a budget for his board to approve in over three years. Yet, the citizens of the United States, have decided to reelect the executive which could not get a budget approved. The failure of the government provide a budget, is a deliberate act on the part of the government, to keep its citizens in the dark with regards to spending I hope everyone understands the importance to have open, honest and realistic dialogue that will result in an intelligent conversation about the proper way to move forward in light of the economy.
