I can't believe this place is legal, holes in the walls and ceiling, bathroom 10x gross. AMAZING BEER SELECTION! Bartender knew nothing about service or beer.

Great belgian beer bar in capital hill. Amazing beer selection. Also go for all the board games they have available to play!

If you want to find a unique beer in a very back alley bar you need to come to the Stumbling Monk. They always have several unique beers from all over the world on draft along with a great selection of bottles. If you are a beer lover and really want a nice night out come here.

Low key hangout with high spirits. They may not have a fancy menu, but damn they have an excellent beer selection! Pick a game off the self and hang out.

I love beer, but I'm not really a fan of the local mode of "let's see how hoppy we can make everything." Instead, I prefer beer that talks and has a great variety of flavors and tastes, and that's why I drink Belgian beers. I thought it was ludicrous that there'd be a beer bar that sold just Belgians, but this place is fantastic. Not only will you get great standard beers: Chimay, Delerium, etc, but there are many great bottles and the beers on tap rotate so you're sure to find something good. The atmosphere and service leave something to be desired, but you're not here to eat food or entertain; you're here to drink good beer, and that's what you'll get.

So far the best beer selection in town. Bar hopping over the last three days this is the place for the best Belgium beer in town.
