Sure, the selfie stick is annoying (unless you're, say, at the top of a mountain, or paragliding down a cliff, or whatever), and I agree that constant digital connectivity inhibits our ability to truly experience food and nature and the like, but there's nothing wrong whatsoever with a bunch of kids checking Wikipedia to learn more about the world as they experience it. If John Muir had known of the possibility of "augmented reality," he would have lauded it, and would have written a geotagged journey of the Sierra.

There is nothing wrong with selfies. It is the cool approach to be against everything. Do some people overdo the selfie on your Facebook page? Sure. But the selfie itself is a great innovation.

Story
Tagline
Personal injury lawyer who blogs and writes books about the law. Not shy about being a trial lawyer.
Introduction
I'm a trial lawyer in Philadelphia who represents plaintiffs in civil litigation, with a focus on catastrophic cases like birth injury as well as some product liability lawsuits like Actos and bladder cancer or vaginal mesh erosion cases.

As a professional hobby, I write a law blog that discusses the issues that arise in the litigation and trial of personal injury and medical malpractice cases.

I've co-authored one book on the law, a guide to civil discovery for Pennsylvania lawyers, and I'm working on another book about federal law.

If I'm not working, I'm taking my three young kids somewhere like apple picking or the zoo.

Bragging rights
Father of three, trial lawyer, published author and blogger. Haven't had a good night's sleep in years.
