What a let down. Coming for visits since 1980, but not since @ 2008. Would talk up the horses and sea lions, then enjoy even more the dolphin and whales. Dolphin show is now the best, with let down for whales, no show on sea lions and horses. Not worth coming any more. Can get more entertainment at other places. Now have to go home and tell everyone how it was a waste of my money and how my great grandson disliked the whale show.

When will Seaworld cease the cruel practice of capturing wild animals and keeping them in enclosed tanks? The orcas and dolphins are wild herd creatures who strongly feel the separation from their kin, and who become sick and psychotic when locked up in the equivaent of a bathtub. How it is allowed to continue, I don't know. I would urge everyone to boycott this cruel, exploitative industry. There are simply no excuses.

I am writing this letter to express our sincere gratitude and extreme happiness with our VIP tour at Sea World Orlando on Tuesday 23 December 2014. It all starts with a huge thank you to Angela, our tour guide for the day. I prayerfully request that you share this letter with her as well. She greeted us promptly at our arrival time, introduced herself to us (more than just her name), provided us with an overview of our schedule for the day, and interacted with us as family for more than 8 hours! We couldn’t be more pleased!! Angela turned a day of “looking around at Sea World” into an adventure and educational experience we still can’t find words to describe. She is extremely knowledgeable about the park, the animals, the trainers, the rides, and just the overall environment. She answered thousands of questions from our family and gave extra attention to my niece, Karly age 9. She is patient, thorough, and has an incredible passion for her job. We are also extremely pleased she joined us for lunch with the sharks. Her knowledge of the menu and the staff made ordering lunch very easy plus we LOVED having her at our table. She truly became family that day. The VIP tour, while extremely expensive, was worth the money my parents (Walt and Vicky Schuttler) paid and we certainly wish more people could afford this! We are so much more educated about the animals at Sea World, the rules and regulations that govern the organization, and how many GREAT things Sea World is doing for our planet. We have spent the last month raving about our day at Sea World to family members and friends and have recommended the VIP tour to everyone. Thank you Sea World and Angela for making a family day for us so memorable. The shows, the rides, the animals, the food, and our day with Angela are all things we will remember forever.

Loved every minute there. Nice exebitions and not too crowded. People were nice and very helpful. Beautiful dolphin show and sea lion and seals exhibition. Also saw sharks, penguins, and other animals. They have also rides on rolocosters. Hope they will grow and be able to have more shows and exhibitions.

The definition of inefficiency. Starting with parking, 6 toll booths are forced into one lane (by moveable cones) for no apparent reason other than to make it take longer. Then the ticketing process. We bought tickets online but purchased preschool passes for our toddlers. You have to wait on the r ticket line to claim these. Then they argue with you about the status of your Florida residency despite providing a property tax bill, electric bill and a cable bill. Why? Because our state issued id is from another state, but the name and mailing address on the bills matched the id. So we waited 25 minutes and blocked a cashier for the only manager (his words) to show up and approve. It amounted to $75 in savings for us but how much wasted time for other customers who couldn't be helped by our booth? The MBAs running the show haven't accounted for this in their spreadsheets. All in all it took us over an hour to enter the park from the time we reached the entrance off the main road. A waste of my time and a lost opportunity for them to have me spend more money inside their park.

After seeing black fish, I vowed never to set foot into another sea world again. Well my daughter and son begged to go and I gave in. Entering the park on 1/21/2015, there were about 25 protesters at the entrance screaming and shouting. One had a mega phone. It immediately made me feel guilty for going. Entering the park was a cluster f*** of confusion and road rage. No order and everyone trying to merge from paying at several ticket booths to one lane. Entering the park was more confusion. But it's like this at any theme park. We opted for the meal plan and fast lane rides. Another disappointment only because it is allowed at just a couple places. All the good stuff kids want, cotton candy, popcorn, slushies, are not included. If you want a drink and the park is busy, you could be waiting 30 minutes... Fast pass was nice but it is NOT FOR KIDS RIDES. IF YOUR KID IS NOT RIDING ONE OF THE BIG RIDES DONT BUY IT. we enjoyed the park. It was very well put together. The attractions were nice. The shamu show was exciting to see the whales but I was again filled with guilt when I saw Tilikum. He got on the platform and was given just a few fish and had no human interaction. The trainer stood almost 8 feet from him and threw the fish and ice into his mouth. They then put Tilikum away and he refused to go into his pen. Instead he wanted to swim in the arenas large pool. We had to sit there for 15 minutes until he had his fill of swimming the large tank. Heartbreaking but, I understand these are now zoo animals and they would not survive in the wild. I am glad sea world is building them a bigger tank. Overall we had a good time but I think black fish is screwed up for creating this smear campaign. What's done is done and Sea world has vowed to change their practices. The park is fun but the atmosphere is kind of fun and depressing at the same time. Only because you see first hand the small habitats. But get happy again on the rides. I'm was kind of on the fence about my feelings but all in all this place is awesome and loves it's animals.

I was not happy that after what we paid for tickets we also had to pay $20.00 to park. The whole entrance process seemed a bit cumbersome. First thru the baggage check line, next the ticket line, then on to the customer service line to pick up our "all u can eat" wristband, or so we thought. That line is just for a card that you then redeem for your wristband in yet another line at the restaurant. For a park that claims to be earth friendly and green it seems to have more than a few overly wasteful practices. what really got me is they open at 9am and we by the all u can eat pass for almost $40.00 each. Their website listed a restaurant that served breakfast. After spending over $100.00 on the food plan were told they no longer serve breakfast! We complained to the customer service rep who didn't even offer an apoligy! Six kids with no breakfast made for a fun start to the day. Shows and rides were good but the lines spilled out into the walking area. Rather than putting out temp cones, post, tape, etc. to direct the crowd to the side of the walkway they just let lines form across the middle blocking all the traffic. There just seemed to be a lot of little areas where efficiency and proccess were sorely lacking.
