I think all the staff is excellent and personable. The workouts are hard and challenging but that is why i joined this gym. I can go to any other gym to get a moderate workout. They challenge me and it has had good results on my body shaping up, getting into shape but most of all they have helped my energy level and self esteem. Keep up the good work.

Work outs were pretty good, other than that, I can't think of anything positive to say. I felt like after they got me to sign up, they didn't even care about me as a member; only as a money sign. I quit after two months and I told them but they never got back to me about what else I needed to do. Since they didn't tell me anything else, I took it as there wasn't anything else to do on my behalf. A few weeks later I was getting calls from collections because "I was months past due my payments." I was so caught off guard! I guess the place got taken over by new management & he personally called to tell me things have changed and he'd like for all the former members to check it out. I'm still thinking about it but the instructor that I had was so horrible & not interested at all that I really don't think I'll come back. Please don't waste your time & money. Look for other local boxing clubs. Hope this helped!

For the people that read this please consider the other reviews as bogus. they score them poor-fair. if you read their reviews they only go to the gym for a couple weeks or a month then they quit. they should try sticking it out for at least 6 months. your body wont change in a month. thats the toughest part of working out. results take time they wont happen over night. i have been going there for 3 weeks and my baby hasnt transformed into a 6 pack working out machine, but im still doing it. it will happen if i work at it and i know it will. everyone in there are great as well. they dont bog you down for money or have bad merchandise deals. they have great deals and are kid friendly. for the ones that say they cancel their membership but still get charged for 8 months? they should check there bank account. how do they not notice they are being charged once a month? its a excellent experience and i recommend it highly

I had called AND sent an email inquiring about pricing and hours for boxing classes and never received a callback nor an email. That kind of tells me what kind of business they run if they can't take the time to reply for business...I'll take my business elsewhere...

This is one of the best boxing gyms in Az. The classes are high intensity and you really get your money's worth with the class of trainers. I have been going to this gym for 7 months and they just recently got new Management which at first I was worried but now I could not be happier. The new and existing staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They do not just see you as a bank account they are not pushy like most boxing gyms in the valley. I have and would recommend this gym.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible... Had to quit in April due to job loss - they continued charging me. Months later they tell me I didn't quit, that I only handed termination paper for my son (who they were not continuing to charge). Months after that they take my 8 year old son to collections apparently changing their minds that they received his quit papers. Will not reimburse. Now taking it to bank for charge back - if bank will not, local courts. Nice job LA Boxing - you had a customer in a bad spot and you dumped on him and his son. I was coming back once I got a job but now we have to sue you and give you all the bad publicity I can conjure in my free time which is plenty-some right now. UPDATE: Turns out this is standard unscrupulous practice - I'm getting calls from friends and even people I do not know with the same experience....

La Boxing is horrible gym. They see you as a monthly check and not a person willing to succeed in the sport. I was a member for 3 month and got tired of it very quickly. They will try to take your money in every way possible by over pricing merchandise, one-on-one lessons, and the monthly rates are to expensive for the quality of the lessons and instructors. The gym is very unorganized and is a dead end stop if you want to some day fight professionally. La boxing is not a Boxing Club, they will not support you in tournaments if want to compete. You must know they are a corporation and not a independently own gym which means they are in it only for the money. La boxing has just lost many of their employees due to disagreements in the gym and is under poor shape.

Well there is a strong possibility that i might be leaving Orange County Ca, later this week to head out to Az to manage this facility. I been in the industry about a decade now, and I have worked in a few of the bigger name gym's you might be familiar with. I experienced LA Boxing as a patron before an employment opportunity arrived, and I have never a had a better hour spent in a health club/training facility ever. I know first hand the workouts are incredible, and the attention and direction i received from the instructors were helpful and motivating. I have never been more impressed with a fitness center. So in reading the reviews that i did and to hear a couple people describe a negative experience actually offended me personally because i love the place, so if all goes well and i am to actually take over the facility as manager...1st I apologize to those who have had a negative experience and would ask them to come in for a few free workouts on me. 2nd I would assure anyone that is serious about getting into shape, or training for mma that this a great place that can and will help you achieve your goals. 3rd Customer service and satisfaction is something I take very serious as a consumer, and i never frequent a place that doesn't extend great service or product. I will on the other hand frequent places with great customer service and i am the first to pass on my experience to others when i have great one. So if all goes well and I actually have the opportunity to give this place the reputation it deserves, you will have a wonderful experience. I don't over promises and under deliver!
