Somewhere between 2 and 9 million infected phones. Not good. What does it do? "...it does at least two things you’d probably rather your phone didn’t do: Fakes alerts encouraging you to download other infected apps, as well as things things like AlphaSMS, which hijacks your phone and silently signs it up for premium SMS services. Sends your phone number and unique device i.d (the IMEI) back to the malware’s mothership."

If you use a computer these cases should interest you with how easy it is for prosecutors to file charges for "unauthorized" access. The Drew, Swartz and Auernheimer cases seem like examples of over reaching the law to punish perceived "bad people".

He was born on July 19, 1956 in Camden New Jersey and was 56 years of age. Arrangements are pending through Cook Family Funeral Home.
