READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING A TEE TIME They recently charged my credit card for $500 dollars for a tee time for 2 that I called and cancelled for. They didn't have my card on file. So when I showed up a week later to play an unrelated round of golf, they took the liberty to charge THAT card $500 dollars extra, on top of the $120 tee time fee for that day. I checked with a friend of mine who said the SAME THING HAPPENED TO HIM last year. It took him 6 weeks to get his money back. They put up a fight! So there's my star for you silver rock. But DO NOT PLAY A ROUND OF GOLF HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO SECRETLY CHARGE YOUR CARD. They did not tell me they were making any extra charges (not over the phone when I called to cancel; not face to face in the pro shop). Go play one of the other 135 course in Coachella Valley. No morals here at silver rock. Disappointed....

for a course that is in it's early stages of maturing we found it to be challenging and one of the best values in the desert. it competes with the likes of the pga west stadium course and the pga west niklaus courses so it has to be good! i can't wait to see it in ten years!

Lacking customer service skill. Ranger was a ballbreaker even though no one in site and we played to 4:20 round. And they don't allow you to hit for 10 mins after your round on the practice range just to work out a few kinks in your game. Really? For $125? I could hit for hours before a round but not a lousy 10 mins after? Nice course but some of the staff could really use an adjustment in the service they provide visitors

spectacular course with generous landing areas off the tees but very well gaurded greens. the bunkers wer enot in good playable shape -- either too much sand that your feet sunk into or hardpan sand. the bunkers and wanering water are waht make this course tough. the views and setting are beautiful, and every hole was interesting. the facilities were not complete, and there were too many maintenance and ground crews that we had to play through to make it a perfect experience, but the course is destined to be a fun, challenging, beautiful course.

arnold palmer design has potential but drainage, conditioning problems need to be addressed. fifteenth hole wierdest in desert with fairway as narrow as 15 yards
