The first question we received when we walked in was "do you have a groupon." When we said yes, they said did you call. We said no (made reservations on opentable from their website). She told us we were supposed to call. Then said something under her breath (something about "you wouldn't understand"), took a few phone calls and walked away expecting us to follow her. I almost walked out, but have them a second (felt like fifth already) chance. Food was decent, not great. Groupon said good for 2 entrees up to 49.95. Most expensive thing was 32, so groupon was a bit of a scam. Bill would have been 94, instead was 59, so still ok savings, but overall I could never recommend this place to a friend.

Quiet local Irish pub with fairly good, hearty food. Good place to relax and recharge with a pint after shopping on 57th Street.

it is a bit sterile for an irish bar and the food is expensive for what it is, but it is ok as a pre-carnegie hall place to eat.

The atmosphere is OK, but service is lacking, especially the local feel. They don't seem to have many locals there because it seems they really rely on the Lincoln Center crowd, even though many locales would love to frequent this bar if Kennedy's were a little more friendly. Do not recommend for tourist or local.

the bartenders are very friendly. the food is great - their bangers & mashed is great. i order that many times that i visit kennedy's. there are celebrities there occasionally. morris the head bartender was great when he was there. i have visited kennedy's over 100 times over several years.
