At the top of a hill on the West end of Hermann Missouri sits Hermann Hill Vineyard Inn, a large, 4 story home that overlooks a small vineyard and offers a great view of this quaint little mid-western town. My wife and I stayed in the Virginia Seedling room on the South end of the 4th floor. The Virginia Seedling room had a private balcony facing East overlooking the vineyard that gave us a great view of Hermann Missouri. There is a king size bed in front of a large fireplace, private bathroom with a large 2 person steam shower and separate Jacuzzi tub. There is also another attached room that has a private sauna, hot tub and illuminated gas fireplace (this is all part of your private room, you do not share these amenities with the other guests). Hermann Hill Inn had a large breakfast menu and offer several breakfast options ranging from eating in the formal dining room, outdoors on the deck that overlooks the vineyard as well as room service. We opted to have breakfast brought to our room. The french toast was amazing, the mimosas were great, and the portions were large. We ended up skipping lunch both days because we ate too much for breakfast! The room had free WIFI, a large screen TV, DvD player, there were books and DvDs that we could borrow, an ice machine, a gourmet coffee in the kitchen, extra towels (on a heated towel rack), robes, and the bathroom was even stocked with supplies that many people forget. We spent most of our time during the day visiting the local wineries both in Hermann and Augusta Missouri. We stopped at Somebody's in New Haven for dinner the first night and ate at the Vintage Restaurant at Stone Hill the second. Be sure to be back in your room by 9:30PM for the nightly cookies and ice cream that are brought to your room! As small as this seems, it was a really nice touch and a great way to end the day. I admit that I had serious reservations about spending as much money as we did before going, but since staying at Hermann Hill Inn I have no regrets. The location was beautiful, the room was amazing, and they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Everyone that we met was extremely friendly and helpful. The pampered feeling we had while staying and relaxed feeling we had when we left was worth every penny. We can't wait to go back!

each time we have enjoyed the same excellent service, clean and comfy rooms, and personal touches that come from the heart of the owners and staff. from the time we are greeted in their living room, to the gentle knock at our door alerting us to the evening delivery of warm cookies, to the individually prepared breakfasts, they continually strive and succeed to make herman hill a place of retreat.

Absolutely gorgeous, stayed at the Cottage #101 and the views were amazing, the food/snacks delicious, romantic, romantic, romantic. Next time we'll stay at the inn for a different experience and view. Wonderful weekend getaway. Train noise wasn't an issue, the cottages are well built and it helps trains are banned from blowing the whistle in town. Make sure to visit the Wurst House and downtown shops, adorable.

We visited Hermann Hill last weekend on a couples getaway. We were greeted with an overview of the facility and tour of the main location. We stayed in Cottage #201. The views were great and the privacy was exactly what we were looking for. We stayed for 2 nights. Our only complaint was that it was hard to regulate the temperature in the cottage when we used the fireplaces. We ended up turning on the air conditioning and opening the doors. We'll definitely be back for our next vacation!

My husband and I just returned home today from Hermann Hill. How anyone could write a poor review about this B&B is beyond me. We stayed in the Norton room. The picture on the website exactly depicts the room. The view was outstanding. In fact, the view added so much to our first Hermann trip. The service was wonderful, and the breakfasts delightful with two full breakfast choices per day along with a continental or light choice. You also had several choices concerning where you wanted your breakfast served. The nightly cookies (small, delicious cookie-cakes) and ice cream were such a special treat. My husband and I dearly enjoyed Fred and Gracie and looked to give them treats every morning! They would often be enjoying the vineyard out back in the morning hours. They made being away from our own dog a little easier. We will definitely stay here again!
