Haven't been for a while, but is a lovely place with simple, fresh food. And good coffee (not easy to find in Barna). Guy with the beard who works weekdays has a reputation for being the rudest waiter in Barcelona, which is well deserved. A lesson in self-importance and pomposity!

This is a nice little brunch/snack place in Poble Sec. Works just fine for a late breakfast/brunch or an afternoon chat with friends. We tried the eggs, which were OK but the salmon brunch toast looked fantastic. And they have Ginger Ale on the menu, which is always a big plus.

We had coffee in Taranná every morning during our recent stay in Barcelona and quite liked the atmosphere and service. Our only complaint is that it doesn't open until 9 AM.

Good food and cosy atmosphere. Choice of some standard tapas, sandwiches and some interesting daily specials. I had watermelon gazpacho which was absolutely fantastic. Mozzarella salad and cecina de leon (like bresaola) also good. Chocolate cake for dessert was ok, coffee good. Friendly vibe and service (guy with the beard was very straight forward and helpful given our limited Spanish). Recommended, though maybe not for dessert.

Great coffee! Nice staff! Very helpful! We're looking for tapas but it's not their time for salty food. So they recommended us other restaurant. So kind!

This is a local favorite of mine. The food is simple but good and very reasonably priced. They have a tapas menu that changes quite often. The interior is nice, they have a a small art gallery downstairs. Service has always been good and friendly, I can highly recommend it.

Great place to sit down and relax, enjoy a great beverage and eat a fine dish in a very nice interior. Be sure to ask for the suggestion of the day, the owners are very friendly and helpful. Big bang for your euro.
