The Premier held meetings before and after the signing ceremony. This was a meeting with the Executive Director of the Green Climate Fund, Héla Cheikhrouhou. In attendance was , Hon. Prof. Kamuntu Ephraim; Uganda's Minister of Water and Environment, the Ambassador of Uganda to France H.E Amb. Nimisha Madhvani. The meeting was hosted by the Permanent Representative of Uganda to the United Nations at Uganda House.

The President of "Bridge for Peace", Mr. Ed Eckart and his wife Annette, paid a courtesy call to the Permanent Representative of Uganda to the United Nations in New York, Dr. Richard Nduhuura.

MODEL UN CONFERENCE (2015) World Affairs Council of Connecticut United Nations for Connecticut high school students participating in our 63rd annual Model United Nations conference. This years’ group of Connecticut had a wide spread of areas of interest, International Security Committee: Arms Proliferation Decolonization Committee: Identifying Human Security Crises using Outer Space Technology Economic Committee: Consequences of Urbanization and Displacement Humanitarian Committee: Universal Access to Education Environmental Committee: Conservation of Water Resources World Health Organization: Responses to Epidemics Never the less, this was a perfect jig–saw puzzle for the Ambassador, with his versatile experience across the board of their areas interest.
For a whole two hours of rocking silence, the students paid very keen attention to Dr. Nduhuura, as he traversed through UN matters right to Uganda’s home policies with all the passion, experience and eloquence conferred by his past teaching experience as a lecturer. It augured so well because, he has been a Minister of state for Health, and for UN matters, he foresees almost all the committees that handles all the areas that were requested.
The satisfaction of the participants was evident in a vibrant question and answers session at the end, which extended the interest to the tattered Uganda flag in the conference room. This was a finishing touch on the first Item on the International security but not limited to Arms Proliferation, but counter terrorism initiatives. He informed the group, that the flags were, were recovered from the Debris of the world trade center after 9-11, that they are treasured as a reminding souvenir for Uganda to play serious active role in international peace initiatives. He wished them a successful representation of Uganda in the debate .The session was ended with a few hours of socialization with a group photographs and cultural exchange in which the pair of twins in attendance were given Ugandan tween names, Kakuru and Kato.
