Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the man and his legacy, a matter that is a lot more complicated than many have tried to paint it as in the wake of recent events. There will never be another like him, that's for sure.

Today, I mourn the lost art of book browsing.
Is Browsing Dead? Posted on 08/10/2011 by Todd. I'll be the first to admit that I was a nerdy teenager. Not pocket protector nerdy, but no sports star, either. I was bookish, I guess you could say...

I still manage to browse now and then, but I noticed that usually I just get in, buy the book I intended to, and get out. That's what inspired me to do this post. Have I changed or has the book buying experience changed? Turns out, it's a little of both.

Ten of my favorite, totally kickass movie posters.
My Favorite Movie Posters. Posted on 07/28/2011 by Todd. Movie posters, just like book covers, have one simple purpose: Sell a product. That's all they need to do. That's all they're expec...

I went to my first Borders in the suburbs of Pittsburgh in July 1996. At the time, it was a book lover's paradise. So many titles! Such a far cry from the tiny Waldenbooks near my hometown. So I'm feeling a little nostalgic right now.

When I was in college I spend a Christmas season working at Borders. They wanted me to stay on past the holiday, but needed me to work full time and I couldn't do it with school. The best retail experience I ever had!
