Just like Vegas, baby! Had a great time at Revel, its the newest hotel/resort in Atlantic City. Modern decor, lots of great dining options, entertainment, bars, and all right on the water. I visited a few other casinos, but Revel is definitely on par with the newest hotels and resorts in Vegas. This is the only casino with windows and view of the ocean i have ever been too. This will be my new goto place in Atlantic City. Even if you are staying somewhere else, would recommend going there to eat, or the rooftop pool is pretty sweet.

They overbooked my room, despite booking over the telephone the day before with no refund for cancellation. Sheets had red and brown stains in it. Room's thermostat did not work on our cold night despite setting it all the way up to 83 degrees, it just blew cold air. Bathroom was nicely styled. One star for overbooking me despite not allowing me to cancel for a refund. A room was substituted. Not world class treatment.

My group of 8 girls stayed there for a weekend event (which wasn't so good but not the hotel's fault) this past weekend. We absolutely loved the resort. First off the rooms were absolutely gorgeous. Super comfortable beds, expansive bathroom (with a shower head I was trying to figure out how I could rip off the wall and fit into my bag to take home).. the room even has it's own doorbell and you can control the lights from the remote control. The pool was trendy and where the party was at for the weekend. The views were amazing and it really felt like a getaway. I can't speak for the restaurants as unfortunately we did not make it to try any of them nor did we make it to the nightclub so I can't speak for that either. Bad is they ran out of washcloths the second day there. It is at the END of the boardwalk so it takes you a bit of a walk to get to the main part where the rest of the casinos are. Also the casino sucks, it was pretty much emptiness the entire weekend we were there and I don't know how strong the drinks were when served at the tables but the drinks while sitting at the slots were a waste of time if you could even find the drink girl. (You want me to spend money right? Well get me drunk. Just a suggestion.) So I'd go to another casino for that. Overall I'd be more than willing to come again IF they drop the room prices or I can find a package deal because the regular room rates are beyond crazy. Though it looks like they are closing so there goes that idea.

Nice hotel but a bit far from the rest of the action on the Boardwalk. There is free parking for the month of July which is always a plus. They also have free wifi and nice seating areas outside of the casino areas. The Sky Garden is my favorite spot in the hotel. It's got a great view of the beach. They have a bonfire area when it's chilly at night. The only down side is how windy it is up there! It can really knock a person over. The layout is a bit confusing but you get used to it after a few walk through's.

Lobby and concourse areas reminded us of an airport terminal. Too much walking and unused space. Room was clean and cheery; but getting to it was a hike. The dining at the coffee shop was disgusting. The Food Server did not greet, smile or show any motivation. The food was overcooked and this was brought to the attention of the Server who took 25% off our check after we complained about the preparation. We invited friends to join us for cocktails one afternoon. The Bartender made the worst 'Mohitta' we have ever tasted! What a waste of $45.00. Rather than take a 'chance' on having any more negatives, we did our gambling, dining and entertainment at a neighboring Casino where we were treated with/as special patrons. This trip was in celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary which I brought it to the attention of the Front Desk Agent. She advised we could get an upgrade for an additional $110 a nite. Where has all the congeniality and service gone???????? Vegas has never been like and we have no intention(s) of returning to the REVEL.

I can only speak to the event center which was very nice. We went to a UFC event and view was really good. They also had big screens everywhere. Other than all the NJ annoying knuckle heads, the venue was pretty good.

This place rocks! I love staying here as the rooms brand new and have great ocean views plus the beds are very comfortable. Free wifi and 46" televisions make your stay enjoyable. The restaurants are excellent with something for everyone. I would recommend this property to everyone and cannot wait to come back!!

The resort has lost it's luster. The smell of smoke is overwhelming, The staff seems over matched for pool side service. While they are pleasant, they appear over matched. The sheets in the room had stains, the comforter had a hole, the alarm on the phone was not cleared (it went off at 5am). The spa was under staffed, no attendant could be found in the lounge area. The return air duck in the spa above the hot tub was covered in dust. The beach experience was non-existent, no revel presence anywhere. The American Cut and Relish where great, security was ever present. This hotel experience was during the week and not the weekend.
