Galveston needs to work on attracting these type of businesses. We are a walkable and bikeable community.
The latest generation to enter the nation's full-time workforce has forced companies to rethink the way they handle day-to-day office operations, but according to one expert, Millennials also play a major part in shaping the future of Houston.

Very sweet. Hotel Galvez is a big part of this!

Great advice! At 44, I'd like to think I know better.
Lateness, lack of preparation, and inattention to personal appearance/hygiene can taint a relationship from the outset. Don't commit these common blunders.

"Spring break" means very different things to different people. For all, it's a chance to get away from daily obligations and do what makes them happy. For some, that means long, quiet walks on the beach or hikes along rugged mountains, while to others it translates to booze-fueled beach parties or climbing about on complex water parks with the kids. For the former, we made a list of amazing alternative spring breaks away from the crowds. But for those who take "spring break" in its most literal sense, here are 10 destinations that may be typical, but are nonetheless totally awesome.

Galveston and Hotel Galvez made the list!

Even as as BOI (Born on the Island) gal, I've always loved Spring Break in my hometown. Please vote for Galveston.
You have until MARCH 17 at NOON to determine where the end of winter is best celebrated. ;For many college kids, break week means the chance to dive headlong into debauchery, alcohol, and shooting videos a future employer should never see. ;For families with kids at home, however, it's the chance for to spend some quality time together, away from the schedules and rigors of daily life. ;
