We stayed the weekend of 4/23/2014. The checkin was very easy. Very attractive lobby. We stayed in a Deluxe room. The shower glass that has been commented in other comments was not a problem at all. The room was very clean and comfortable. At night they do have pool parties and street parties so yes, the music can be a bit loud but it stopped at around 1am. It's Vegas, who goes to sleep at 8pm anyway. The casino and entire property is very modern, and comfortable. The staff was excellent!. Very personable and service oriented. I was apprehensive making a reservation and staying here but once I was here I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back for another stay again.

This was my second stay at the Downtown Grand, the first was for the pre-grand opening last November the short comings that we had then which were minor, like the ice machine was not hooked up on our floor, there was no do not disturb signs in the rooms, no room service, things that you would expect from a new hotel which was just being completed. I give them four stars for that visit. This visit only 3 because they really screwed up my reservations, I requested a smoking room with 2 queen beds. I did not find out that the room was non-smoking until we had settled in and unpacked, and I went to the check in desk and asked for an ashtray, they asked what floor i said 19th and he said that the 19th was non-smoking and the smoking rooms were all full. I will say the food was great although expensive. The service on the casino floor was great. I will stay there again, I love the location, and like the people working there.

Had a 2 night stay and the Hotel...Even though there was a power failure due to the high wind but everyone was understanding and there was no problems. Customer Service was great and very helpful. We was on the 14th floor and very nice spacious room and very quiet and had a great view.. Had no problem with the half glass on the shower...Walking distance to everything. Would stay again...

As one of the newest hotels in Downtown Vegas, the Downtown Grand is awesome! The rooms were fresh and well appointed. I can not brag enough about the staff - they are so professional and polite. You truly will enjoy the accomadations, casino (esp if you win!), pool and the staff!

Please file this as a formal complaint. I am an RCI points member (#1-3582650) and I stayed at the Hotel from Fri. 4/4/14 thru Monday 4/7/14. Although I stayed on the 16th floor it was so LOUD we could not sleep. The first night we checked in at appx. 2am and the music from the bar downstairs was so loud the windows were vibrating. Of course I had to stay, it was late and I was tired. Finally fell asleep. Sat. night the music from the pool party was even louder, I shot video on my tablet (attached). I called the front desk and asked if there was any room in the hotel that would not be subjected to that noise. I was told not that night, possibly Sun. night, but the music would stop at midnight. It did not, again 2am. Sunday morning appx 9am I went to the pool area to see why it was so loud. I was speaking to a security employee who asked for my room key (to verify my eligibilty for pool entrance I guess, she never said why) I was telling her about the vibrating windows and how loud it was, she said "Why didn't you come down?". I feel like that was very unprofessional, and inappropriate, if I had wanted to party instead of sleep I would, besides I wouldn't have stayed at that party since there were only about 5 people there the whole night. Anyway, Sat night I tried to get a room elsewhere but nothing available, I would have left if I could. Sun night the biker bar downstairs, again music so loud I could sing along since I could hear every word of the songs, again vibrating windows, again after midnight sometime it stopped. Thank You for accepting this a complaint, I am trying to at least get a refund of my RCI points.
