Voted Best Mexican Restaurant in Colorado Springs since 2011. At Salsa Brava Fresh Mexican Grill, your food is always made fresh from scratch. Our salsas are handmade using more than 2,500 pounds of hand-cut fresh tomatoes weekly. We use only the highest quality leanest meats, Wisconsin-aged cheese, and 100% cholesterol-free canola oil for the most flavorful Mexican dishes. While most Mexican restaurants incorporate lard and MSG into their menus, we respectfully disagree with this cooking practice. We care about our guests and are committed to providing you with the freshest and healthiest menu items possible. Eat Fresh. Live Well.

My husband and I grew up in Texas and we love good Mexican food. Now that we're living in the Springs, we've tried several Mexican restaurants but they've all been bleh until we discovered Salsa Brava last night. If you're wanting delicious and fresh food, this is the place to go. The moment our waitress put the chips and salsa on the table, we knew we had found a winner. The staff were all super friendly, the environment was terrific and the food was excellent. We ordered chimichangas and enchiladas and we each said that it was the best we'd ever had. The margaritas were yummy, too We highly recommend this restaurant! Oh - and they have a gluten free menu which is a huge bonus for our family. :)

OUTSTANDING!!! we decided to go this restaurant solely on recommendations an online reviews and we were not disappointed! Chips and salsa on the table with a minute of sitting down with a friendly greeting from a busboy and our waitress Maria was delightful. She was attentive, friendly, and just plain awesome and made the whole dining experience wonderful! The food was a grand slam, starting with coconut shrimp as an appetizer and our entrees chicken fajita enchiladas and blackened mahi tacos... Both absolutely delicious! My sangria was the perfect compliment to my meal! I would definitely come to this place again if I am in the area!

Great food - I recommend the chicken and chorizo enchiladas and the chimichanga (covered with queso, optional and recommended). The staff really gets to know everyone that comes in, and they are super-friendly.

Salsa Brava is a great place to go with friends for a night out! The food is good, great salsas and tasty beverages!! The wait staff has always been friendly and fun. My friends and I love to go for girls night out! One night we were having such a good time, we didn't even notice they had closed. AND they didn't say anything to us until an hour after closing time.

Went to Salsa Brava for Dinner on June 21, 2014 with 4 adults and two small children. The adults ordered and kids did not...Our food was good, not great but good, drinks were drinks, nothing special. Our waiter was good but kind of a smart ass but made us laugh....Received our bill and my husband signed it and shoved my copy in my purse...I didn't look till the next day but the waiter had taken it upon himself to add his own tip to the tune of 17 something dollars. I called for the manager that evening and he said they automatically add tips for parties of 6 or don't count. So I was questioning why this was done and he said he was busy and would call me the next morning...Never heard from him again and I went home (out of state)...Just wanted people to know - check your bill carefully and you don't have to accept that the waiters want to name their own tip...B.S.!! Very unprofessional and disrespectful of the manager and won't ever be back.

The decor is comforting and still it is bright. Our waitress was kind and competent. I had the Baja Tacos and they were the best fish tacos since Sencha went out of business. My mates had the chicken tacos. Tasty, flavorful. The presentation was lovely. Dessert was the fried ice cream. All in all, highly recommend this restaurant.

The servers are nice. The food is okay if you like BLAND tex-mex. I do not, and apparently they think salt pepper, and hot sauce will make anything taste good. Hello... have you people ever heard of cumin, smoked paprika, sofrito (sp?) or any of the other spices used in tex-mex food. The prices are just to high for mediocre food.
