The guys were fast and knowledgeable and flexible. I had an appointment in the middle of everything and they worked it in. Best moving company ever. They were so careful and wrapped alot of things people don't normally think about. I will use them again!

Leaving a one star rating at this point. I have been waiting 5 hours for them to arrive. I've called every hour that they have been late, and confirmed with Customer service that all my information is correct. They are now telling me they have been trying to call - as a ruse to get me to calm down. I never received any contact or any phone calls from the 'franchise' movers and now I fear I won't be able to move on time. I will enhance my review if they ever arrive. Update.. After finally getting a hold of the Hunks scheduled to come to my house, we discovered the lack of contact or phone calls was due to a glitch in the system. The confirmation was tied to someone else's name and number, and they were calling the wrong people. The mover I spoke to was super friendly and apologetic, and is working to resolve the problem. I will update more, if this turns out to be a happy ending. Increasing to two stars.

They were super late due to some kind of snafu (we had to call the main office multiple times) but they wound up calling in some great guys to cover the job. They were helpful and very respectful.

Run! Suckered me in with a low bid, then the ultra-slow crew caused a 60% increase in final bill. Zero post-estimate customer service, zero call-backs after numerous calls, zero response to BBB complaint. Would not give contact info for owners or founders. Bottom line, they stole my $400. Beware!

Would highly recommend the College Hunks. They got me moved into my new place in record time. They worked hard, and were very careful with all of my belongings. I will never move again without calling them first. Best experience ever.

College Hunks made a nightmare situation into something much more manageable and convenient! Our family experienced a nightmare closing experience and were looking at an unexpected and unknown closing date due to disorganization with the mortgage company. We found ourselves living in a half boxed up apartment and unable to work with our friends to help move due to the unknown date. We were frantically trying to find a company that would be able to pack up remaining items and moves us within hours notice, while also trying to reschedule deliveries and installations. Within the first moments of speaking with Ryan, I knew we would be in good hands. His cheerful, positive demeanor and initiative during a time I was more or less in a state of panic put me at ease. He did everything to tentatively schedule us times and movers to make sure we would be in our new home as soon as we were able. He stayed in constant contact, always answering his phone when I would call with updates. On the day of the move, the movers were fast and efficient. Cameron came in with a plan, directives, and packed, wrapped, and boxed everything with care and such a professional demeanor. At the time, we lived on third floor and know this wasn't the easiest move. All the movers worked quickly and without complaint or hesitation. Ryan even came by to check on us and help box some glass kitchen items. It showed such a dedication to our experience! Once arriving at our new home, they offered to unload our additional UHaul with even heavier pieces. After the experience, we found our final bill was significantly lower than our original quote. We will be recommending College Hunks for any future movers and will utilize them in the event we have to do this again!

Do you want your property moved by inexperienced slow miserable college guys just trying to make it through the summer? Then hire these guys. It looks good on paper but this is a Junk Removal Company paying their employees Junk rates. It’s a 100 degrees outside and they don’t pay for water and they even make the employees buy their own shirt. What happens when you pay Junk wages to your employees? They milk the clock because they are trying to get as many hours as possible. I’m talking about dragging your feet, checking your phone every 5 minutes and taking your sweet time wrapping and disassembling your furniture! I don’t blame them really. Take all this into account and it’s a win for the Franchise with more hours billed but you’re the one paying the bill. If you want your items moved safely and quickly by REAL professionals look elsewhere.

This is the second review I've written in my life and the first one was glowing; I take these things seriously. I am extremely disappointed in this company and will NEVER recommend them to anyone. First, I think they way they price "junk" removal is a scam. They tell you that is by the amount in eighths that you fill a truck. What they don't tell you is that it's not a truck. It's a dump bed with no ceiling, so items cannot even be packed appropriately. The prices are astronomical but I was in a bind and needed these large items removed from my home and was out of time. Second, I was given a 3-5 pm window. At 4:20 they called to say they were 30 minutes away. At 5:15 they showed up. Third, the two guys that showed up seemed to have no knowledge of what I had requested. I had a ton of things that I wanted to go to goodwill, most of which was in excellent shape. They didn't seem to know about this. I had asked if they could move a single piece of furniture upstairs for me, they also had no knowledge of this. I also had a lot of garbage removal (as I had recently moved in to my new home) and they did not know about that either. Lastly, I was told I would have a receipt from goodwill for tax purposes the next day. It has been 8 days and two phone calls to them and I have not received it, nor any response from the company. This leads me to believe that either 1- my belongings were never donated, 2- the company keeps these things and maybe sells them for additional profit, or 3- furniture and items in good shape when to the dump, where they could have been used to better someone else's life. I caution anyone who is considering this company.
