I'm on a special diet. The food is awesome, but the portions are real small if ordering a small plate. Spoke to manager Ryan about the portion and he was extremely professional and helpful. I'll give it another try but I wish they had a better lunch menu at a more reasonable rate.

I dont not know how these places have remained open. I guess the majority of the crowds like them. I have been there many times and gottten sick afterwards. Their rice has onions and scallions, which get me bloated afterwards. Everything comes with rice. Their latest, sushi platter, got me sick for days. There is nothing in their menu good enough for a lactose intolerant person like me, I had stayed out of this restaurant for years until recently, out of necessity, but they remain the same. Cheap food, highly overprized. It is probably just me, but I can not give them evrything past a one for grading, and that;s being generous..

We have been going to this location for quite some time and used to love it. But our experience yesterday was not a pleasant one. The person taking the order did not know the menu and was rude, service was late, we felt rushed to finish quickly even though half the tables were empty. I am hoping things change back to the way they were earlier. We were very excited about the new menu, but the food was not that great either.

I've been to Pei Wei probably 10 times since they opened. The food has always been excellent. I don't mind trying new dishes, because I know that no matter what I choose, it's going to be good. Also, I love how they put own spin on classic Chinese dishes. The decor is very modern. It's warm and inviting. The biggest flaw that I see with Pei Wei is the size of the seating area. At the dinner rush, there just isn't enough space for everyone. Because you order and then sit, it's not uncommon to order your food and then have nowhere to sit. Another drawback is that it seems to take a long time to order. When I go to a restaurant where I order and then sit, I expect the ordering process to be fast and not something that takes 10 minutes.

Recently made a quick stop in here and had a very negative experience with two different staff members. They were very rude - since they were busy, they didn't offer any greeting except "next!", they didn't make much in the way of eye contact, and didn't respond to basic politeness such as please and thank you (not a single you're welcome). Not the kind of service to aspire to. Plus though their concept is simple, I think their menu is actually pretty confusing, particularly as it pertains to pricing. And they make ordering sides very difficult because of the whole "build your own" entree thing. One cashier could not understand why I might want to order an extra side of white rice. That shouldn't be a foreign concept to an asian takeaway restaurant. Lastly, the food just wasn't very good. Sad to say I probably won't return.

Since I had never been to this restaurant before, I was confused by the menu posted on the screen and didn't really understand how to put together my meal. I didn't see the written menu until later. The restaurant was pretty loud when I arrived but was less loud by the time I left. After the people in my group each placed their orders, we were given a sign for the table. A man kept coming around bringing entrees and asking if they were ours. I'm not sure how many times he came before he brought our dishes. Something seems to not be working because I would assume the specific food would be assigned to the table sign. The food was actually pretty good and I would have rated higher if just based on the food. The whole experience was a little awkward and could have been smoother.

I can't tell you how many times my friends and I have met up to eat here over the past 5+ years. Each time I've been satisfied with the meal - yes, some days are better than others but I've never had a truly bad experience. I absolutely love the pei wei spicy and honey seared shrimp or chicken. I took off some points for decor because it is a pretty small place and the tables are packed in. If you come at a busy time, you might end up eating almost on top of the people next to you. But it's still a great place for friends or families to go for some reasonably priced food.
