We have a new program feature: The Credit Union Station.   Within our programs, families receive financial counselling, improve their credit scores and learn how to save. They can even use their tickets to pay for the fees associated with opening up a credit union membership!

This Sunday at Lowell, we have Spring-themed activities, including Easter Egg Dyeing.  The children will take home pretty baskets filled with eggs. We are combining our Easter activities with the Earth Day theme by encouraging the children to clean up after themselves and to make sure the school is free of egg shells.

We feel that fathers and husbands should be equally aware of the challenges that the women in their life might face. So we always encourage the men as well as the women to attend the Obstetrics/Gynecology class, where a doctor will be available to answer questions about pregnancy, birth and women's health.

Dental health is important and not accessible to everyone.  This Sunday at Lowell Elementary, dentists from Foothill Community Health Center will check mouths thoroughly and provide personalized assessments along with referrals to affordable clinics.

Come celebrate Earth Day at Lowell Elementary on April 13th. We’ve planned some fun and meaningful activities to help children appreciate their planet and the environment. At the Crafts Station this Sunday, our children will be making new recycle bins, creating gifts for elders out of recycled materials and designing Earth Day cards for homebound seniors.

Twice a year, Sunday Friends helps families redeem the hard-earned tickets for housing. To qualify, each family should have at least one month’s worth of tickets, specify landlord information and write essays on various topics.

Sunday Friends holds programs to bring families together, encourage bonding while raising awareness to cultural events and social causes.

Our volunteers play academic board games with children that are fun, and through these activities they teach math, English literacy, nutrition, science, history, technology, ecology and more.

Sunday Friends holds shopping sprees for our members, where you can give opportunities instead of handouts.  The gifts make it possible for children and parents to earn necessities and even luxuries.

In every program class, our guests educate our families on important topics like creating effective solutions for your child's nervous habits and how to enjoy books with your children.
