Our November 2014 trips were absolutely amazing. Not enough adjectives to describe the excitement of diving with bazillions of small fishes and squadrons of Mobula Rays.

2 spaces available on the April 20 - May 4, 2015 trip. See http://www.cityseahorse.com for information or email cityseahorsetours@gmail.com.

Nudibranch Overload! In November 2014 one of the dive sites was just full of these nudibranchs - all were quite large - we found them solo, in pairs mating, laying eggs... strange that after a while we started to ignore them - Halgurda batangas overload!

Love the colors in Raja Ampat! Muck diving is great, but our "Vertical Muck Dives" are far more colorful and clean!

Finishing up planning the itinerary for the March 31 group charter from Sorong - Halmahera - Lembeh Strait! I found Don Silcock' articles from my first charter to dive that area: http://www.indopacificimages.com/index.php/indonesia/diving-indonesia-south-halmahera-scuba-diving-sites/ Fun to read and remember! Nice photography - Take a look!

One charter out in Raja Ampat right now, Julie going out next week, then the charter from Sorong through Raja Ampat, Halmahera, and on to Lembeh Strait starts March 31!

It's been a BUSY month and I've finally found a few minutes on Sunday afternoon to start a Google+ page.

I'll be adding photos and news as I find time. News from past trips, about future trips and also any special offers that cross my path.

Still images from my video. Harlequin shrimp + Blue Ring Octopus

Outstanding night dives in 2011! During the first part of the Nov 10 trip divers spotted a pair of Harlequin Shrimp. Unfortunately I'd worn out my shoulder holding my video housing up for a couple of hours shooting manta rays earlier in the day, so I skipped that dive. I missed the shrimp! However, we were able to repeat the dive on the next to last day of the trip.

The Harlequin Shrimp were hiding that afternoon, even during sunset when most of the group went in to make photos of Mandarianfish. I NEVER ask one of the dive guides to go on a night dive with me if I am the only one going. But this time I decided to do the dive and take Etel as a guide. VERY rewarding!

I was the only one there with my camera - caught the shimps as they dragged and muscled a starfish into their hole.

At the end, the starfish was still wedged outside, so I gently used my pointer to rotate the starfish. The shrimp grabbed it and quickly moved it out of sight! I heard them saying "Thank you, Deb!" as I swam away - right over a Blue Ring Octopus!
