Too old to rock-n-roll, too young to die
The best thing about this restaurant is the friendly staff and the lively atmosphere in the cafe/bar section. Surprisingly, beers are a popular offering amongst the local crowd. The wine selection is affordable and decent. The food in the restaurant is.... homey but disappointing, hence the rating. Go there for drinks, but skip the dinner.

Outstanding selection, great prices, good service. Why go anywhere else?

Good dimsum but too expensive. I had soup dumplings, siu mai, shrimp dumplings and a beer. Bill was $46 after tip. I was on an expense account (their typical clientele) but still felt that it was a TERRIBLE value.

Great happy hour, well worth the trip. Only downside is that the patio faves a rather busy street

This place is about as bad as it can get. Located in a tourist-trap area of the city, serving tourist-trap quality food (Gringo Mexican, as I call it) and cocktails that appear devoid of any alcohol. Two of us ordered a margarita pitcher because it was only $3 more than two glasses. An hour later we had drank the entire pitcher as if it was a soft drink, and felt as if we had not consumed ANY alcohol. If there was anything other than lime juice and water in there, we could not tell. There are only two things this place has going for it - the chips and salsa were actually not bad, and the location on Friday night is a bit lively. If you go there for the food you will be sorely disappointed though. There are so many better places in San Diego.
