I am too busy to read "The Busy Trap" in New York Times. The writer takes waaaay too much time explaining why some people get too busy with social media stuff that doesn't matter. I read the first paragraph and clicked away :-)
I realized that part of the resistance to G+ by many of my friends is the content style. so i am looking for people to place in a "costumes and fashion" circle as well as a "health and fitness" one. and a Sci-Fi circle, just thought of that. maybe then it will click better for us.
one of the middle stories is about tetrachromats. (four different cones on the retina) one of the people interviewed mentions seeing pink in a noon sky that appears blue to everyone else. and uses the term "sky-blue-pink" which is what my mother claimed was the color of everyone's flesh. anyways when i heard this pod cast i thought of her, she was consistently trying to get here quilting/needle point business off the ground and is the reason i have higher than reasonable standards for fabric based crafts. I wonder if she was tetrachromatic now, i doubt it but it's possible.
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moondog , Moondog was a blind American composer, musician, poet and inventor of several musical instruments (...) Most days he could be found in his chosen part of town wearing clothes he had created based on his own interpretation of the Norse god Odin.
Just saw the most recent episode of Community. it is a great show, the set up to sweeps is one of my most favorite times for television. If you are not watching Community then you should stop watching Big Bang Theory, and watch Community instead. BBT is nerd black face. they were funny at first then they went for a broader audience and became insulting. I like how Park & Rec is using the Ron Swanson character to show how libertarianism fails. adn this weeks 30 Rock was funny on the Bazzoka Joe Jokes (i have one in some of my about me's ) and the point that smart people need to have children or we are doomed to a future of paste eaters that are under educated.

the staff is dismissive and off putting. as opposed to helpful and kind. over the past six months I have been in the store four times and all four times i was instructed to go to the website or use an automated system. you are already on the internet save yourself the frustration and search for your answer now while you are here.
