wow. I hate it when that happens. Hope you're not too disappointed to finish it.

Is anyone experienced with Qt's model view willing to do a code review? I've implemented a QML item that presents JSON objects as a Qt model. It works fine but I wondered if there were any further improvements I could make. #QJsonPath

I posted my code to implement a C++ version of JsonPath for use with Qt 5+ QML. If you've used XPath then this should be familiar. It's XPath for JSON. QJsonPath allows selecting arbitrary subsets of a json object given a search string.

I'll be modifying the code to create a QML item in a Qt Plugin. You could then include it in your QML project without recompiling.

I've also got a JSON list model control cooking. Used together with this you can request data from an arbitrary web service, pull out a subset, and display it using the Qt controls.

SWEET! I'm restoring one exactly like it. Any suggestions for finding parts?

The only gauge I put in was the voltmeter, its quite cool, you can change the backlight to various colors.  All other gauges are stock.

I see that the creator of minecraft has dropped support for the Occulus Rift (in response to Facebook's acquisition). I'm not surprised. My own first reaction on hearing Zuckerberg had purchased it was that it would kill it. I think the Avegant display has a better design anyway. I wasn't sure it would succeed though. I've seen technically better products fail.

This should be fascinating. Since I can make up conspiracy theory from anything it might be fun too!
