David was born and raised in the Clovis / Portales / Farwell area. He has left the area several times, only to return. David joined the Marines in 1984.
The Marines took him to San Diego, San Antonio, Alabama, Kentucky, and Hawaii. Yeah, it was a pretty rough tour :)
David returned to Clovis after seven years in the Marines, then left for a IT career that took him to Washington, DC through Albuquerque. David has consulted for companies such as Dow Elanco, Ford, Kodak, and Lavery.
He still does a limited amount of consulting today, mainly building small business/e-commerce/information marketing websites using Wordpress.
After spending three hours a day commuting 12 miles to and from work in DC, and after experiencing 9/11 in DC, David decided it was time to move back closer to his family in Clovis. Originally, David was shooting for Colorado or some other location a days drive away; However, that didn't pan out and he ended back in Clovis.
