Charlie's Rainbow Trout Resort has been a provider of Lodging on the North Fork River for over 12 years. All of our cabins have been rebuilt or remodeled over the past few years. A tail water fishery, the North Fork River begins at the bottom of the Lake Norfork Dam and runs for about 5 miles before joining the White River. The North Fork River provides an ideal year-round habitat for Rainbow, Cutthroat, German Brown and Brook. Daily dam generation has a big impact on fishing opportunities and regular visitors will check the generation schedule before hitting the water each day.

Nice, but watch your belongings. Having gone there annually for years, it is no longer the sleepy little place which made it so attractive. Advice: lock your car, do not leave anything valuable on the deck unattended, or the leave door unlocked at night. Hundreds of dollars of equipment was stolen from my car. There are no security cameras and the parking lot is poorly lit by today's standards. Play self defense!
