You will find almost all of your electronic needs here. They carry a good variety of items on shelves. I was looking for an adapter for my phone and I was pointed to 3 different places within the same store, iPhone accessories, AV, and communication equipment. Store staff members are semi-helpful but not quite enthusiastic about getting you to where you need to go. By the way, they match Internet pricing if you have proof. It is a good place for me to hunt for electronic gadgets.

The thing about frys stores is that you don't go there because you like the store, it's because you need something fast or you don't have an online option or you need to try something you could not otherwise. It's extremely rare for the staff to be nice and they don't price match with all places. So do it at your own risk. I also have bought items that were "new" only to find that it was an open package item with missing stuff. Returning that was super awkward.

The range and rapid change of products makes it unlikely that the person helping you will be as knowledgeable as you would prefer. The commission staff can be hard sell salespeople, they do try to meet the specs. Do your homework. It seems that the target audience has shifted from engineers and businesses to family entertainment and play.

I have always liked this store. Competitive prices, very well stocked, clean, organized, and customer service is getting better. Lots of parking.

The Mecca for electronics good. Need an obscure part? Frys is the place to go. This Frys also had huge selection of "As Seen On TV" stuff... My favorite bizarre ASOTV item photoed below!

The store has been around a long time and seems to be showing its age a little in terms of upkeep of the building, the effort fort the kinds of displays and arrangements set up for the products, and the general availability of staff to help with selection or checkout, but it is still large enough to have most tech related items you might need. The promo code deals they try to make you sign up for can be pretty attractive, but not all the sales people will be helpful enough to point out which of your items might be on promo; you'll just have to pay attention to the emails if you want in. The return policy is fairly generous though, so that can be handy for occasions where tech fails on you quickly.

You can find anything in this store. Bad experience with extended warranty . They always blame it on your "software" to exit from liability of honering the warranty you paid for it heaps. I always avoid extended warranty at fries, they always found a loop hole to not honor it, heard same from many ppl.

Not as bad as the palo alto store, but certainly rings "Fry's" when you walk in the door. A huge, vacant floor of somewhat disorganized junk next to unorganized computer hardware. I went to this store to see some computer monitors in person before purchasing one. Many of these monitors weren't configured to the refresh rates they're advertised at, or otherwise not displayed well. The labeling is vague and minimal. The Asus PG278Q monitor was mislabeled as the PG279Q. I will definitely avoid frys in the future if i can, and i suggest you do too.
