How To Make Simplistic Free Beautiful Beads From Roses Making necklaces out of rose petals is a very old fashion idea. Not only are these rose bead necklaces beautiful but the scent is delightful as long as you choose roses that have a strong fragrance to make your beads with.

Begin by picking lots of rose petals early in the morning as soon as the dew dries. Choose roses that have just opened if possible. In order to get enough petals you may need to do this daily for several weeks. Just keep adding the new petals to the older ones and eventually you will have enough rose beads to make a necklace.

Pictorial Post #1 I’ve been playing around with various craft ideas over the past few months, plus I now have a craft room, so I thought it would be nice to just share some photos of what’s been going on. I intend to make these “pictorial posts” from time to time.

Easy Homemade Lasagna Do you like lasagna but think making it is a hassle? Three pans is all it takes. We use home canned sauce, but you can use store bought sauce if you like. We use the old fashioned lasagna that you boil, but there is an oven ready lasagna noodle available now, which would cut the pans needed down to two. You can even make lasagna in a solar oven, but that is a post for another day!

To begin, gather your ingredients. The basic ingredients are hamburger if you want meat, bacon - or you can use a bit of bacon grease for flavor, lasagna noodles, tomato or spaghetti sauce and cheese. If you like your food spicy, gather your favorite herbs or spices such as garlic, peppers, rosemary, basil, chilli powder and fresh ground pepper.

It’s really easy to make delicious batch cooking freezer recipes that you simply pull out and cook – some of them don’t even need thawed! If you find yourself stopping at the supermarket every day to pick up something fresh for dinner and would like to make life a little easier when it comes to meal preparation, then batch cooking and freezing may be the answer that you are searching for. While I do not do a lot of freezer cooking the items that I do freeze are sure time savers especially on those crazy busy nights or when unexpected company shows up. Follow these simple steps outlined below to get started making freezer meals then you can decide how many meals you want to make ahead. It is possible to have a month or more of meals ready to go. At first it might seem like the time spent could be better spent doing other tasks but when you consider the time it saves in the long run you will understand why many people prefer batch cooking and freezer meals over those freshly prepared nightly!

A Short Guide To Aromatherapy #foxbrim When you smell something nice, such as an appealing perfume, or a tasty dish being cooked in the kitchen, or fresh cut roses set in a vase full of cold water, that smell give you a good feeling inside? These good feelings created by pleasing aromas are the basis for the art of aromatherapy. People who practice aromatherapy believe that the scent a person smells can induce the body to stimulate its ability to heal itself. Depending on the kind of scent or combination of scents that are inhaled or absorbed through the skin, the scent activates the immune system of the body, making it more capable of fighting invading microorganisms that cause disease and boosting its strength.

To make the body heal and become more resistant to illness, practitioners of aromatherapy make use of essential oils. These essential oils are extracted from aromatic plants then blended with a carrier oil such as the #foxbrim Cerified Organic 100% pure Jojoba Oil. Essential oils are also often used in the making of scented candles, perfume, soap and other beauty products.
Disclaimer: I received the #foxbrim Cerified Organic 100% pure Jojoba Oil for free or at a reduced price in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. Ten Ways To Scent Homemade Soap I make a lot of homemade soap. Goat milk soap from scratch using goat milk from my own goats is my favorite but sometimes even I use melt and pour soap bases. The decision on what type of soap base to use depends on what properties I want that soap to have, what I bases I have on hand already made up (I prepare my bases in large quantities, shred them and then store them as soap shreds) and – if I am making soap for someone else – what their preference is. Over the years I have come up with some interesting scents, but somehow I keep coming back to the same basic ten ways to scent homemade soap that everyone loves. Here are my ten “go-to” soap scent recipes.

Story
The owners of Exotic Gardening Farms and Wildlife Habitat believe in self-reliance and doing things the old fashion way. From weaving to spinning to soap making, our crafts are made with pride and care using items grown and raised on our farm whenever possible.

Our items are handmade with care using as many items as possible from our own farm. We feed our animals certified organic feed and do not use pesticides, herbicides or other chemicals on our animals or land.

We raise chickens, ducks, a variety of rabbits including angora and Leicester Longwool heritage sheep. We have Nubian/Alpine cross dairy does, cashmere does and an angora buck that we use to breed our does. Our goat kids are either cashgora or dairy/angora crosses. We also have a variety of baby chicks, ducks, lambs and bunnies that are available for purchase in season.

We offer a wide variety of seeds, plants, rag rugs, woven items, goat milk soaps and other homemade bath products, gift baskets, wreaths, candles, fresh and dried herbs, fruits and vegetables as well as fiber (angora, mohair and cashmere).

We also sell full grown roosters ready for you to butcher and farm fresh eggs from our chickens.

All items are subject to availability. Please inquire about what we have available for sale. The money from the items you purchase is used to help keep the farm going by providing food to both the wild and domestic animals that live here.
