Fancy yourself as an ethical culinary master?

We're sponsoring the Freedom Food Compassionate Cook 2013 competition. It's a ‘how to’ recipe video contest for cooks who care about good, simple honest food, where it comes from and the people who help produce it.

The lucky winner will win a year’s worth of grocery shopping for a family of four, worth £4,000, courtesy of The Co-operative Food. Plus two runners up will receive £500 worth of shopping each from The Co-operative Food.

Swimming the English Channel probably isn't everyone’s idea of an enjoyable fundraising activity...

But that's exactly what our Director of Product Integrity, David Meller, just did to raise money for the Fairtrade Innovation Fund!

Good news for our campaign to Make Food Fair!

Remember after Fairtrade Fortnight when we handed your petition signatures in support of smallholder farmers in at Downing Street? Well Secretary of State at the Department for International Development, Justine Greening, has written to us confirming a high level commitment to placing smallholders at the heart of Government policy.

A huge thank you to all who signed the petition! More on the story here http://www.fairtrade.org.uk/get_involved/campaigns/make_food_fair/campaign_news.aspx
