One word. Pathetic. My employer forces me to use this pharmacy because it's the only store our horrible insurance accepts, and it is like taking a step back in time, and not in a good way. They either don't have the medication in stock or make you wait a minimum of 30 minutes if you are the only person in the store, or much longer if there is someone in front of you. I routinely miss medication because I have to wait to get them filled, and run out in the meantime, and no, you can't get them early, because rules! The checkout system they use is also pathetic. You have to give them your drivers license, which is okay. But you have to give it to them when they ring up your medication, then again when they swipe your card, and you are buying controlled medication, you have to hand it over for each prescription. I've never done this at any other pharmacy. This happens repeatedly. Also, there is literally nothing but a prescription filling service here. Nothing else at all. They are only open 8a to 6p Mon-Fri, which is very inconvenient for people who work for a living. The pharmacist at the most recent visit agreed with me they are not up to par, and even said she has kids and has to put up with the bankers hours and being closed on weekends. When you are looking a pharmacist in the eye, and she tells you that her children wait on medication if they get sick on the weekend, it tells about all you need to know about the company. Back to that word. Pathetic. If you are like me, and this is the only place you can go, complain. Let them know how awful they are. If you can go anywhere else, and I mean ANYWHERE, go there. Don't ever come inside this place. Even the pharmacist who works there has to wait days for her medicine. How do you suppose they will serve you?
