Their range of hot dogs is pretty extraordinary, with options available even for vegetarians. Their more traditional offerings are good, but for those who go for more exotic fillings, definitely try the duck and bacon. There's always a crowd during dinnertime, so be prepared. They have outdoor seating that works especially well on sunny afternoons. Get a stein of beer, park yourself out there and people watch on weekends.

I went here after hearing so much about this place on different blogs and websites. So if anyone was wondering is it amazing YES!!!! Let me tell you about it when you first enter you are greeted by this modern looking small room, sometimes theres a wait but when I went there wasn't you will wonder what's going on for a bit until you get closer and see the menu. There's a lot of options but the staff was very helpful, I asked the best question I usually ask when I go somewhere "What is the most popular item on the menu?". I chose the Classic Bratwurst and also I chose to get a side of the fries and with the small order it comes with one special sauce, I chose the Pesto Mayo, wow it was amazing. The fries are huge the bratwurst was the best I've had in my life, seriously it's that good. It has a fairly large seating area, a great back bar and even a dedicated DJ booth area. There's a water dispenser if you want water that has cucumbers in it, which was rad. Theres giant condiment pourers with like Dijon Mustard and Ketchup so condiments are never far away. Once you order they bring the food to you. The meal was huge and 11 bucks. By far it's a great place to go especially if you want to goto some of the bars in Little Tokyo or around the corner in the Arts District. Highly Recommended.

Had my birthday here, which turned out great! Aside from the huge line to order, its a quality spot. Very interesting menu, I was hesitant in trying the mango rattlesnake hot dog, but my goodness....was it superb! Couldn't stop telling everyone to check it out. Definitely a retread joint. 👍

Usually a wait but well worth it. The staff is prompt and has never made a mistake with my order (not that it's super complicated anyways). Always a good time and it's a great environment with its family style seating. All the patrons are very friendly and that adds another facet of uniqueness to this place.

I came here twice just for beer. I haven't had their food yet because I been eating across the street at Pie Hole. Overall, I like their beer selection. Can't beat that. - Parking is a bit tough, either park far or at the garage/structure where you have to pay for parking. -LONG LINES -Pay for food before sitting -Lots of selection for food and beer.

Like many popular places in LA that has line ups and slightly above average food, Wurstkuche is one of them. We check it out after a couple of friends raving about it. The sausages were gourmet, and unique. The beer selection was excellent. The best part was when we were given our beer while waiting in line before paying. When the dogs came out, it tasted fresh but nothing fantastic. The bun was very so so. A DJ was playing music in the beer hall so you will not be able to hear any conversation. We sat outside on the long street patio where it felt a bit like in Europe. $36 could only get us 2 dogs and 2 drinks. Save your money for some truck food or goto Vancouver's Japadog!

I actually thought the fries and beer were the best part. The sausages and such were good but the truffles double dipped fries were amazing with all the special sauces. Be prepared sometimes for a huge weight... I'm not the biggest fan of long lines so just a heads up. I wouldn't wait in line to get the food when there's a lot of options in little tokyo to eat. Come at a good time and it's well worth it.

Review strictly on beers and overall vibe! Only offers Belgian/German beers. Not that I have a problem with it, but I'm from San Diego, and used to drinking IPA or IIPA, so I'm kinda out of my elements here. Anyway, I end up having St. Feuillien and some sort of fruity drinks that are too sweet for my taste. Should've asked for a sample, but the bar was pretty hectic that night, so I just want to get my beer and got to a table. My St. Feuillien came in a 0.25-L glass which is gorgeous! As a matter of fact, my three beers came in different glasswares, so I give them credit for presentation there. Wanted to get food a couple times here, but the line is just insane!! The atmosphere is a bit too dark for my liking, and the bar is rather plain when it comes to decoration. There's no harm really of putting some hipster decor or something, but oh well, they're making good money, so I guess they don't have to worry about it. Will probably go back for the food because I really want to try those hyped sausages!
