MSY inside is now mapped for all of the Android users out there. Thanks to the Google team that came down and mapped out the building.

Did you know that on this day in 1988 Taca Flight 110 had to make an emergency landing?

You asked for it; now we have updated pricing at our concessions. Some products saw drastic drops. At Air Dog, Cajun Dogs were $7.50, now they are $4.46. An iced coffee (tall) was $4.31, now its $2.96. A 5 piece strips at Popeys’ was $9.00, now it is $8.04. A domestic bottle of beer at Pampy’s Live Oak Bar was $6.25, now it will cost you $3.75.

I was a flyer on Oct. 6 & again on Oct. 8. I flew Southwest. With all honesty, I can say that I have never experienced such inferior women's restroom facilities adjacent to the gates on any other flights at any other domestic airport. You should be ashamed of yourselves! As a tourist destination, I cannot fathom that your pride in your city would permit these substandard conditions to continue. I weigh 115 lbs and am 5 feet tall. I had one small carry-on piece of luggage. I could not turn around in the stall without great effort. How someone larger could even use the facilities is beyond belief. I complained to the Southwest gate agent on the incoming flight and she commented "Oh, we all go down to the last restroom. Southwest has no control over the restrooms." That one "acceptable" restroom was past gate 7. On the way home that is the one I used on Oct. 8. Please don't tell the flying public that you are STILL recovering from Hurricane Katrina; it's now 2015 and you are supposed to be an international airport!

Besides it being a little dated, this is a decent introduction to New Orleans with the pralines, Cajun food (with music usually) and PJs coffee. The TSA are great too- they know just the right spot to scratch my balls.

This place is slowly getting better. I like the credit card parking lot but it needs to be a little bigger. It also would be nice if they had more food options past security check-in. The car rental facility is really nice and convenient.

Lacks some amenities - like restaurants, but its a small airport so you can't relaly give it too much grief. It at least TSA precheck.

Small airport but good. Staff is helpful and friendly. The building is in good condition and clean. Bathrooms are great. Plenty of space to rest and wait for your flight comfortable.

Enjoyed my flight, customer service was superb, airport was welcoming and clean. Great job New Orleans!! Please relay your secret to the rental facility. I reserved and paid for a car from Hertz. Upon my arrival I waited 45+ minutes for them to clean my car along with 12 others waiting in front of me. I'm a person of patience, but everyone else is not. Just a heads up.

Decently easy to navigate. Pretty pricey to go to save from alone. No uber option other than uber black. No problems with the actual airport though

What you gonna do, not leave town if the airport is bad? More times than not I'm here picking up someone who is visiting, so from that perspective, JPSO needs to keep cars moving in the lower level. Every time I've been there are no spots to pull over on to load an arriving person's luggage, yet I see security doing nothing about it. People parked, engines off and sometimes outside of their vehicle waiting. There is a cell phone lot on Airline Hwy to be used for such an occasion. Drive time from the lot to the arrivals area is 5 minutes, use it.
