Hi all, my group and I are currently looking for new players for our urban fantasy Fate RPG campaign 'Seattle Chronicles'.

Seattle Chronicles is, as one might expect, set in modern Seattle, USA. Players take control of mages: individuals, through some twist of fate, are able to channel the power to reshape reality through their souls. Other creatures such a werewolves, vampires, and ghosts exist, and the theme is very much a mix of swords and sorcery meets modern day. Those familiar with the Dresden Files or Mage the Awakening (or Ascension), this setting has a similar feel.

We are currently wrapping up the first arc of our campaign before we head into our 'mid-season break' (if you consider the campaign as you would a TV series), and hope to have new players ready and on board by September 10th.

As we're starting a new arc, new players only need a passing knowledge of the previous session, which you can find in the campaign wiki, below.

Games are usually run on Saturday nights 18:00 - 22:00 (GMT+10) on a weekly basis. We play Online on Roll20 and use Skype for communication. People aren't required to be present every week, but the more, the better.

We have session logs and other campaign information on our Obsidian Portal page: https://seattle-chronicles.obsidianportal.com/

If you're interested, drop me a line. Some experience with World of Darkness/Dresden Files or other urban fantasy settings would be ideal, but not critical.

How do people go about determining how strong a given NPC should be? Assuming PCs start with the +4 apex skill, what do you consider a fair challenge? This, and in extension setting difficulties, is where I've felt I haven't quite mastered in Fate.

Still looking for a couple of new players to join our weekly Saturday night (6pm AEST) online urban fantasy campaign set in Seattle. Each character plays a mage/sorcerer/wizard, in a similar vein to Mage (the Awakening and Ascension) or Dresden Files.
There is also opportunity for 'guest star' roles for those that can't commit to every week.
You can learn more about the campaign in the link below.

Hi all, my gaming group and I are looking for a couple of new players for our Fate campaign. It's a Urban Fantasy game set in Seattle, and all the characters are mages/sorcerers/wizards, in a similar-ish vein to Mage the Awakening or Dresden Files.

EDIT: We're just on the tail end of campaign preparations, so it will be easy to get caught up.

Sessions run either Saturday or Sunday 14:00 - 18:00 GMT+10 (depending on what people can manage that weekend, which is decided the week before).

You can read more about it in the link below.

If you're interested, drop me a line. Some experience with World of Darkness/Dresden Files or other urban fantasy settings would be ideal, but not critical.

Hey all, I'm currently running a game using the Frontier Spirit Fate World (from Patreon) and I'm having trouble coming up with some spirit portfolio aspects for a Spirit of the Forest. I've come here with the hopes that the community can help me brainstorm some suitable ideas for the spirit.

At the moment I've got:
- The Cycle Must Continue (referring the cycle of life and death in nature, and how the dead nourishes the living)

Hi all. My group and I are picking up WiP for the first time, and one of my players asked if he could create a character like Sylar from the TV Series 'Heroes'. With that in mind, how would someone go about making a character that can copy powers in the system?

One of my players is looking at taking a stunt to emulate a 'Luck Aura' so to speak, that will benefit himself and his allies. Problem is, I'm a little stumped as to how about doing this. Anyone got any ideas?
