I'm a veteran journalist who has written about sports and other issues for more than two decades, and I've authored two books on one of the most storied NFL franchises: The Redskins Encyclopedia and the Washington Redskins Football Vault. By virtue of my work on the Redskins Vault, which has been licensed by the Redskins, I'm the official Redskins historian. I've been interviewed extensively by print and broadcast media on Redskins history, including NFL Films for its documentary, “History of the Washington Redskins” and the Redskins for their 75th anniversary production, “Great Moments in Redskins History.” I've also appeared on the “NFL Top 10,” a program that airs on the NFL Network. My articles on Redskins nostalgia have been published in Sports Illustrated magazine and Redskins team outlets, and I've covered the Redskins for the Associated Press. The Pro Football Researchers Association recognized me with an award for feature writing. I currently host a Redskins television show called “Burgundy & Gold Magazine.”
I'm the official historian of the Washington Redskins. I've written 2 comprehensive history books on the Redskins, the Washington Redskins Football Vault and The Redskins Encyclopedia. I also write for Redskins.com, the team's official Web site, and I appear regularly on "Redskins Nation," the team's in-house TV show, discussing Redskins history. My Web site is redskinshistorian.com and my email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
