Didn't end up drinking here as I went specifically to see the 'How I Met Your Mother" pub. However if you make a trip here for that be aware that the pub INSPIRED the pub in HIMYM, not the actual pub. Having said that the pub looks awesome inside and if it wasn't 10 in the morning I would have had a pint. Nice and close to central park 59th street as well.

Great place to go if you love classic / sport / super cars. Their stock changes often so each week you can walk around their showroom and look at new cars. Crossley & Webb also has a small coffee bar inside the show room which is a great excuse to go. Have a cup of coffee while browsing the cars. The staff for the most part realises that you are not there to buy a cars and just look so they leave you in peace but are quite happy to chat if you strike up a conversation.

Wonderful themed German Pub. After walking inside I felt I could be somewhere in Germany. There was German music playing, German food on offer and German beer to drink. I had mine out of a boot. The beer selection was great and it was well priced. The bar lady was attentive and served us quickly and efficiently

Don't let the somewhat scruffy interior detract from what this place is. I wasnt so sure when I walked in purely on how it looked. However the guy who served me was helpful and put a really generous amount of cream cheese as well as smoked salmon on my bagel. I did really need the toilet and they unfortunately have no public rest rooms

The queue for this place was 40 minutes at lunch time. I have no problem queuing for food but 40 min was a little long especially for what I got. I had the single mushroom burger which was tiny. To have it compare with the other burgers in the city I would have had to get the double, but then the price skyrockets. The taste of the burger was good though and it's a nice establishment. Just stay away at lunch and order a double beef burger!

Not quite sure if this is a dive bar or not but it had a bit of a scruffy feel to it (in a good way, however). The tables had carvings and words written into them with pen. Huge selection of beer and a (loud) dukebox. I went here at about 03:00 and the place was busy. I really enjoyed its relaxed, non-pretentious vibe.

After being told Ramen was the next big craze after sushi I had to try Ramen while visiting New York. Accidentally stumbled upon this place and really glad I did. Arrived as they opened for dinner (around 17:00) so the restaurant was very empty however it's quite small so it didn't seem to lose the atmosphere. Added to this you can see the guys cooking your meal so there was a constant buzz in the restaurant. The meal I had, which was the full house, with a steamed bun starter was honestly the most delicious pork I have ever had. I would most definitely suggest getting a steamed bun starter and the full house Ramen. The cost was also very reasonable considering the location and type of place it was.
