“for every gallon of water used by fracking, Texas saved 33 gallons by using that water to produce electricity from natural gas instead of coal.”  New study shows fracking is good for water conservation. http://www.freedomworks.org/blog/ameliahamilton/study-shows-fracking-good-for-water-conservation

Well then I guess your engineer friend is full of shit. Fracking is cleaner and more environmentally friendly than offshore deep water drilling. Just look at my avatar for sources.

They cooked the books. Sadly it's a common practice.

I'm an old guy who rarely sees a physician. I'm very fortunate in that regard. When I first examined how ACA is designed, it became clear to me that the core plan was fatally flawed. Common sense should have made this apparent to anyone who was even slightly aware of what was planned. What I was a young man, I knew that part of my responsibilities would be to see that the elderly would be well cared for. I doubt that young people today feel any different. What we have done here is just a cruel joke on these youngsters and needs to be stopped. The other side of the aisle offered up several good alternatives and even a Google+ member came up with a great idea for replacement plan. This legislation needs to be removed immediately and replaced with something reasonable and workable.

Celebrities can afford higher energy rates and they're fighting back against clean and efficient ways to reduce costs....like fracking. http://www.freedomworks.org/blog/ameliahamilton/hollywood-anti-fracking-activists-proven-wrong

There's a lot of talk on Capitol Hill about raising the minimum wage.  Here's a  #TBT  post from February addressing how minimum wage is actually cruel to those beginning in the workforce. http://www.freedomworks.org/blog/lheal/the-cruelty-of-the-minimum-wage
