The story continues

The agency emailed AT&T Friday asking for more information about that announcement, including "all documents" related to that decision.

The request may not be great news for AT&T, which still needs the FCC to sign off on its $48 billion deal to acquire DirecTV. Stephenson’s threat to stop the company's fiber build-out may help bolster the case of Internet providers that net neutrality rules advocated by President Obama would hurt investment in networks. But it doesn't help the case with regulators that allow AT&T to buy DirecTV will expand high-speed broadband access to millions of Americans who currently can't get it.

FCC officials also want to know if AT&T's financial model "demonstrates that fiber deployment is now unprofitable" and whether laying fiber to more than two million homes after the DirecTV acquisition "would be unprofitable." AT&T has a week to respond.

This week, AT&T engaged in a little extortion over net neutrality, when CEO Randall Stephenson said that the comp...

I don't think they got this one right. They are going to need to drop the LCD display and add notifications. The display for the notifications will either need to be built into the band, projected onto the crystal or allow a "flip" case.

Republicans’ “Internet Freedom Act” would wipe out net neutrality stating that Internet providers need the freedom to block and throttle Internet traffic.
“Once the federal government establishes a foothold into managing how Internet service providers run their networks they will essentially be deciding which content goes first, second, third, or not at all," Blackburn wrote.

I don't think they are getting this right. I'd never wear my luxury watches as an activity monitor. I however would like my luxury watches to have notifications. The trick is to how to maintain the style and look of a luxury analog watch while providing the technology of the smart watch. I think the best attempt at this so far was the smart bands allowing you to see your notifications with a flip of the wrist. Having used several Android wear and Pebble watches I would also suggest a microphone for on the go input.
Swiss watch companies are finally waking up to the potential of smartwatches, with the launch of models from three different companies. Mondaine, Alpina

Introduction
I love to share my passions for the ocean, gadgets and music with my family and friends. I'm in search of

"that one particular harbour
Sheltered from the wind
Where the children play on the shore each day
And all are safe within

Most mysterious calling harbour
So far but yet so near
I can see the day when my hair's full gray
And I finally disappear"

Let me know if you find it. 8)

My family has been here since Saturday. Several members of the staff try very hard to make up for the multiple short comings of this place. We have not had air condition since we arrived. I will update more as I am able to.
