25 million passenger bags get delayed, damaged, or lost every year. On June 28, join this webinar by GE and Altoros to learn how the problem is addressed by one of the airlines on its path towards Smart Airports. The webinar will feature a demo of a sensor-based baggage system that tracks location / status of luggage inside and between airports at every moment of a journey, collecting real-time data from multiple sources. The IoT solution—based on the Predix platform—will help airlines to decrease departure delays and eliminate the risks of luggage loss. RSVP here:
Join the GE and Altoros webinar to learn how airlines can eliminate passenger dissatisfaction from mishandled bags and create personalized customer experience with a complete edge-to-cloud solution to meet a real world need in the airline industry.

Deep learning is rapidly growing, embracing methods to solve problems related to computer vision, speech recognition, natural language processing, etc. This new research paper provides a comparison of five popular DL frameworks: Caffe, Deeplearning4j, TensorFlow, Theano, and Torch. The solutions were examined against time needed for training a model and classification speed/accuracy. The comparative study makes use of a fully connected neural networks (FCNN) and the MNIST data set. Get your 25-page copy here:
