Quite simply one of the best cocktail bars in London. It's a very small place so it's definitely worth reserving a table but I cannot recommend it enough. Every single drink I've had here (and I had quite a lot!) was a journey through flavour... incredibly well balanced, complex and basically fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough if you're into cocktails.

To be honest there isn't really much you can say about Nando's - one is very much like the other. But the food arrives quickly, is well cooked and you can smother it in any one of a variety of sauces as hot as you want... what's not to like? Hardly a place for a romantic dinner but if you like chicken then Nando's is worth a visit.

I love Cask. To be honest you don't come here for the food (which is reasonable but certainly nothing spectacular) but I havent seen a larger selection of beers in London (and I like beer a lot). Loads of beers on cask, loads in keg and loads in bottles. It's very easy to spend a fortune on the imported US beers but equally easy to stick to UK breweries which are more reasonably priced. This place is a must visit if you have any interest in beer.

I really like this place, although it gets VERY busy and it can therefore be difficult to not get in anyone's way... get there early and try to get a table or a corner somewhere! If you like beer, you'll probably have heard of Brewdog - a good selection of beers, mostly in the american microbrew style (everything on keg rather than cask). Pizzas are really really good. If you like beer and pizza (and who doesn't?!) then check it out.

This place is TINY but is a must visit for any beer afficionado. The selection is great, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable but I would definitely head over here when the weather's nice so you can spill out into Borough Market. Although the bar staff are generally pretty good at letting you know how much things cost, remember to ask just in case... some of the imported keg beers from the US can cost upwards of £6 a pint so be careful!

More recent 'sister' pub to their Camden location. To be honest I've only had snacky type food here so can't really comment but the decor is nice - very modern feel with metallic bar, exposed brickwork, etc. Beers are top notch, mostly in the US pale ale sort of style (think strong and hoppy!) with everything on keg rather than cask. Still a good selection so if you're into your beers then I would definitely give it a go.

Had read mixed reviews of Dishoom but I think what it does, it does pretty well. All our food was very well cooked (delicious lamb chops), service was efficient and friendly and it was fairly reasonably priced for central London. No idea how authentic it is, and the decor is a little bit twee, but I did really enjoy the meal and would certainly recommend a visit.
