I absolutely loved this hotel & Amanda at the front desk ROCKS!!! She was SO helpful and knowledgeable! The Renaissance will be our first and ONLY choice when my husband and I visit Denver. I will admit that I was slightly afraid of what type of experience I would have based off of me calling the hotel to ask 2 yes or no questions. A female with an urban, inner city accent placed me on hold twice for 10 minutes each time when I called around 9 am on 9/6/15... the third time I called, I had to stoop to her communication level to get the yes or no to the simple questions I had... the conversation didn't take more than thirty seconds... Luckily I had already booked before I called or else I would have looked elsewhere... I hate that I had to use a "hood" persona to get my questions answered but I'd probably still be on hold a day later if i hadn't 😂😂😂... Other than that, the hotel was lovely, the room was lovely, & we had a wonderful view of the city and mountains from our room balcony... All of the staff we came into contact with in person were nice and helpful... Especially Amanda! That woman needs to be the Director of Guest Services if she already isn't!!! The hotel gets 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, Amanda gets 10 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, and whomever answered the phone that morning gets this tip: Your customer service skills are better suited for a seedy, pay by the hour motel... This place was TOO nice for anyone wanting to stay there to have to come into ANY type of contact with her...

The staff informed us that we were too early for check in, so we waited in the beautifully designed and decorated lobby, ate jumbo chicken wings and used the WiFi. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy. The TV didn't always work, but we never bothered to ask about it because we weren't there to watch TV. The parking situation was fine for us: we always found parking on the street within a block or two of the hotel, so we never had to pay.

The Internet connection in this hotel is horrible, after trying to connect to the wifi for 20 minutes I finally got connected, the speed was ridiculously slow. Because I was incredibly upset with the Internet speed I went to write this review, after trying to load the hotels website I had to disconnect the wifi and post this review with LTE. Other than terrible wifi this hotel is pretty nice.

Dated hotel in serious need of upgrading. The Wi-Fi is horrific, even for the premium paid service. Beds are nice but beyond this, not much pleasant to say.

The hotel was a very nice place to stay. The rooms were very comfortable and the bed was amazing. The staff was very nice and helpful. However, the parking was a little confusing, our balcony had a great view but the door was hard to open, and the food was good but very expensive. Nice place to stay but I'd eat elsewhere.

Worst hotel ever. I stayed there for a week with my wife and daughter who was in a softball tournament. When we arrived my wife inspected the bedding and discovered that the sheets were dirty and the comforter had hair and body fluid on it. We had to have the maid change these things out. We then subsequently found an empty water bottle in the night stand draw. There was food crumbs on the floor underneath the desk portion of the dresser that were left by a prior guest. The mirrors were dirty and looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The furniture was old, worn and the dresser did not have any pull out draws. The bathroom only had 2 towels in a room that was registered with 3 guest. The room supplied coffee which only had 1 regular and 1 decaf single cup. We were disappointed after returning to our room the following evening to discover that it hadn't been cleaned and that someone had placed our do not disturb sign on the door. The next day the same thing happened only I had taken the do not disturb sign with me. I complained to the front desk who then got the evening maid to clean the room. This happened a total of 4 times before the day maid finally cleaned the room. I believe this happened because I went to the maid before leaving that morning and asked her not to put anymore do not disturb signs on my door (as I already had a collection of 3) and to please clean the room properly. The hotel does not offer complimentary coffee outside the room and breakfast is not included. I believe for the price of this hotel they could throw some coffee and bagels in on the deal. The front desk personal were very helpful and acted as if they had heard these types of complaints before. On a positive note the hotel gym was one of the nicer ones that I've used while staying away from home. You might be wondering why we didn't leave and the answer to that is my daughters softball team was required to stay at this hotel by the tournament officials. This was a play and stay showcase tournament. We have stayed at various hotels and motels through the years but this was by far the worst ever.
