This is absolutely horrifying. JP II is often quoted as saying, "the opposite of love is not hate, but use." He said it, I believe, in the context of sexual purity and lust, but I think it applies here, as well.

It’s time to take our blinders off, look past the feel-good narratives and think logically about what is really going on here and where it is taking us. ‪#‎womenarenotbreeders‬ ‪#‎childrenarenotproducts

There are times in our own life that the Lord calls us to leave our homeland and flee for an Egypt. We may have to leave behind things we like for our own safety. Like Joseph, we need to be ready.

We’ve come a long way from the days when people with disabilities were referred to as “human weeds” and forcibly sterilized, institutionalized, euthanized.
However, the heavy push for assisted suicide these days and the now near-standard prenatal seek-and-destroy mission for children with various diseases and disabilities, show that we still have a long way yet to go.
The other day I took Grammerly's Who is your poet BFF? quiz and got Maya Angelou. I didn't immediately think much of the results. It was just a fun little distraction. But then I read the poem that...

A perfect God of love wants to love and be loved perfectly. Real love involves our choice to love God back — or we can reject Him. God took that risk.

Joseph is the model of masculine virtue for all fathers. Perhaps we don’t read much about him in scripture because those virtues are supposed to be ordinary.

Wake up, pro-lifers. The Brave New World may soon be upon us, whether we like it or not, but let’s not watch it advance without putting up a fight!

"I am now convinced that if a society does not embrace the sanctity dignity and equality of all human life (and North American society does not) then any barbarity is possible. A truly civilized society includes in its tender embrace every human life. This includes every child developing in the womb those people with mental or physical disabilities those with terminal conditions, derelicts, the old and people who are not wanted or even loved by anyone. Impossible you say? Perhaps but I'm a sucker for hopeless causes. Perhaps it comes from having what many consider a hopeless disease. Love is what defines enlightened and civilized society. But love needs the divine. The brotherhood of man needs the Fatherhood of God. Love without God becomes selective coercive and arbitrary -- turning lives of the weakest into hell on earth...Yes I am convinced that human enlightenment is impossible without God. Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the greatest imperative of the 21st Century."
